New Trailer Revealed for Angelababy’s Upcoming C-Drama “My True Friend”
Starring Angelababy, Deng Lun (邓伦), and Zhu Yilong (朱一龙), the modern romance TV series My True Friend <我的真朋友> a new trailer introducing its set of main characters was leaked online through a video cam, creating a frenzy on Internet boards.
The drama stars Angelababy as Cheng Zhenzhen, a property agent who has a close partnership with her boss’s son Shao Pengcheng (Deng Lun). Zhenzhen has had a long crush on the interior designer Bo Ran (Zhu Yilong), who also has feelings for her.
The leaked trailer introduced the complicated love triangle between the main leads—Deng Lun confronts Angelababy, sits on her desk, and berates her: “You sell houses! Not your body!” The scene then cuts to Angelababy and Zhu Yilong, who gently wipes her mouth and presents her with a bouquet of flowers.
With one tough and one soft, fans find it hard to choose between the two male leads. Both actors are rising stars within the entertainment industry; Deng Lun is fresh off from the fame that he earned in Ashes of Love <香蜜沉沉烬如霜>, while Zhu Yilong shot to fame after starring in the web series Guardian <镇魂>.
