Sammi Cheng and Andy Hui Caught On Dinner Date
Although 43-year-old Andy Hui Chi On and 38-year-old Sammi Cheng Sau Man have denied rumors that they were dating on recent occasions, a reporter spotted the pair on a dinner date at 4 PM yesterday. The pair dined at a restaurant in the Jordan district, sitting in a dimly-lit corner. Upon discovering reporters, Andy appeared embarrassed and had to take a sip of tea to steady himself. Sammi acted more generously and smiled happily at Andy.
Romantic sparks occurred between Sammi and Andy in 1991 when they collaborated on duet song, Do You Truly Have Me in Your Heart <其實你心裡有沒有我>. To protect both their careers, Sammi and Andy maintained an 11-year underground relationship before publicly revealing their relationship in 2001 at the Jade Solid Gold awards. When the pair broke up in 2004, many fans hoped that they would reunite again. Sammi acknowledged that she did not date anyone in the last few years. When Andy broke up with his ex-girlfriend, Michelle, last year, many people speculated that he would reunite with Sammi again.
When the reporter spotted Sammi and Andy at the restaurant, they were in the middle of a conversation. Spotting the reporter, Andy pointed his finger at Sammi and said, “The reporter is here for you!” Since their date was discovered, Andy’s face blushed. He picked up a cup of tea and repeatedly sipped it to steady himself. When reporters took photos, Andy forced himself to calm down and said, “It’s okay.” Finally collecting himself, Andy asked the reporter, “Which publication are you from?”
After finishing their meal, Sammi stepped outside first. When reporters asked whether the pair were dating again, Sammi remained silent while smiling in response. The answer appeared self-evident. Andy said sternly, “Don’t say that.” After driving Sammi home, Andy went back to his own home.

Jayne: Although Sammi and Andy did not openly acknowledge that they were dating, their behavior seems self-evident. Andy had a bad public break-up with his last girlfriend, Michelle, and was accused of being a player. Sammi wrote a long essay to publicly defend Andy. In that statement, she conveyed that although she thought about reuniting with Andy, they were had spent many years apart and have evolved as different people with different experiences.
In photos over the last few months, Sammi always seem to have puppy eyes for Andy. I do think that she wants to be back together with Andy and may have even initiated. Didn’t she buy him an iPad for his birthday earlier?

I have never seen Sammi Cheng more healthier or glowing looking. She has really changed in the past few years and in a way I am happy for them.
She is looking much healthier in that pic. I thought she always looked good when she first started out waaaaay back in the early 90’s. Wish them luck on the second go around!

It does look like they are reuniting, if not already. Good for them! I think they have both matured a lot these past few years. Especially Sammi. I think after taking a hiatus and coming back to the music scene, she seems so much happier and healthier. Wish them the best!

Not just Sammi, but Andy Hui also appears to have a things-are-going-well aura around him. Just caught him in the Grasshoppers new variety show, which is very entertaining by the way.
I know at first I though that was going to be stupid and boring kinda like super trio (which btw sucks now is no longer a TRIO) but the all star glam exam is actully funny and entertaining and I look forward to it every weeks this week Bosco and laughing Gor is on, can’t wait!!!
