Selina Jen Thought of Leaving All Her Money to Her Dog
From personal experience, S.H.E.‘s Selina Jen (任家萱) knows that life can take an unexpected turn at any moment. In 2010, the Taiwanese singer suffered third-degree burns on more than half of her body due to an explosion on the filming set of I Have a Date with Spring <我和春天有个约会>. Though skin grafting has restored most of the burn damage, scars still remain on some parts of her body to remind her that she should plan ahead in case of an unfortunate event. Turning 39 years old next month, Selina thought it would be wise to have a will in place.
As Selina is divorced from her husband Richard Chang (張承中) since 2010, she once had the outrageous thought of leaving her fortune to her beloved dog, Pinky, who has since passed away. Selina rethought the decision and ultimately decided to leave all her assets to younger sister, singer Lorene Jen (任容萱). Selina expressed, “She’s younger than me, and will most likely die after I am gone. In case I suddenly leave one day, my sister can use this money to take care of my parents.”
While a lot of her friends have been advising Selina to live in the moment and spend all of her money while she is young, the singer is also worried about having nothing left if she lives to old age. In order to prevent that from happening, Selina has already arranged a very detailed financial plan.
Besides her finances, Selina does a full body examination every two to three years to make sure her health in still in check. Although she tries to maintain good health, Selina laughed, “Even though I know that eating fried food is not healthy, I still want to eat junk food. Sometimes staying up late is fun too. However, if I know I’m not in the best shape, I will make sure to adjust my diet and sleeping habits.”
In celebration of her birthday in October, Selina will be releasing a new single for the special occasion. Refusing to leak further detail, Selina said fans will have to wait and see for themselves.

I’m a fan of S.H.E but I don’t get it when people want to leave their inheritance to pets. How much money can they spend? Plus they don’t live long. Of course leave it for your family and they can take care of your pets too lol
It still surprises me that out of everyone in this trio, Ella would be the one to have a child first. Selina is so girly and somewhat family-oriented, that I thought she would have a family first. It’s always the ones you don’t expect…
@coralie LOL..right..of out of the 3 it’s the toyboy? I think really it has to do w/meeting right person. The Ella girl met the right one and seems over average for her while Selena is so pretty and that dude looks below average and probably NOT the correct one. haha lol..Life is indeed ironic.

@cutie777 ATV did one, but this was a remake by Mainland. Of course, it was never completed because of the accident. I read somewhere that they redid it with a new cast after.
The other one as in Hebe or Ella? They are still really active in the industry!
