Six Months After Wedding, Jacky Heung and Bea Hayden are Still Not Officially Married

Becoming a couple through Chinese reality show Best Time <最美的时光>, Hong Kong actor Jacky Heung (向佐 ) and Taiwanese actress Bea Hayden Guo (郭碧婷) got engaged in March 2019 after only dating for three months. Hosting their wedding celebration in Capri, Italy in September, the couple later took their honeymoon in Chongqing, China. It’s been six months since their wedding, but Jacky and Bea Hayden still did not officially register their marriage yet.

The son of China Star Entertainment Limited’s CEO Charles Heung (向華強), Jacky’s romance with Bea Hayden has been closely followed. The paparazzi even published photos of the couple honeymooning in Chongqing last year, where they were seen having a good time shopping at local malls and eating out.

In a recent episode of variety show Daily Cloud Time <天天雲時間>,  Jacky shockingly revealed that he and Bea Hayden have not registered their marriage yet. He said, “We held our wedding banquets, but we’re waiting for an auspicious date, or when we’re not so busy to get our marriage registration.”

When netizens expressed how unbelievable it was for the couple to be “too busy” to get married, Bea Hayden responded and said, “There’s no need for netizens to worry, as [my relationship with Jacky] is going very well.”

As the incident drew increased attention, Jacky’s mother Tiffany Chen (陳嵐) clarified that they had tried to unsuccessfully register marriage in Taiwan due to the local government’s detailed document requirements. She said,  “Afterward, they were busy with the Lunar New Year holiday and then the coronavirus outbreak, so Jacky hasn’t been able to go back to Taiwan!”
