Wang Yibo’s Earnings Hold Up Entire Management Agency

One of China’s biggest stars, Wang Yibo (王一博) topped the charts for being the most sought-after artiste for commercial endorsement due to his clean image, popularity, and international appeal. His new film Hidden Blade <無名> with Tony Leung (梁朝偉) and Zhou Xun (周迅) is leading the Lunar New Year box office, exceeding approximately 98 million Chinese yuan.

Renewing his contract with Yuehua Entertainment until October 2026, Wang Yibo is the most profitable artiste in the company. Of the CNY 753 million revenue in the first three quarters of 2022, Wang Yibo’s earnings made up nearly 59 percent of the company’s revenue.

Other notable artistes managed by Yuehua Entertainment include Ashley Zhang (張鎬濂), Han Geng (韓庚), and Wu Xuanyi (吳宣儀).

Upon hearing this piece of news, fans were quick to tease that Wang Yibo is the primary breadwinner for the entire company. One fan wrote, “What is it like to be the person to feed an entire company?” Others joked that the company’s fate and future depends solely on Wang Yibo.

  1. He is indeed the treasure and breadwinner of the company. This reminds me of BTS and GD who were the same thing for the company. Celebrities like them are really heavyweight on their shoulders
