Poster of Raymond Lam’s “Detectives and Doctors” Unveiled
Media photos of the world’s first 3D wuxia television drama, Detectives and Doctors <陆小凤与花满楼>, were revealed online yesterday, including the drama’s character cards and official promotional posters.
Starring Raymond Lam (林峯) as the hero Lu Xiaofeng, the drama is a retelling of Gu Long’s (古龍) adventure-mystery Lu Xiaofeng novel series. The wuxia epic have spawned ten film and television adaptations since the novel’s inception in 1970s. Detectives and Doctors will be the sixth television adaptation. The drama will be loosely based on The Kingdom of the Golden Bird, the first novel in the series.
Detectives and Doctors also stars Zhang Xiaolong (张晓龙) as Hua Manlou, Lu’s blind best friend; Shaun Tam (譚俊彥) as Ximen Chuixue, the jianghu’s best swordsman; Zhang Meng (张檬) as Ah Xin, Lu’s love interest; Lan Xi (斓曦) as Shangguan Danfeng; Kent Cheng (郑则仕) as Lei Xiu; Cai Juntao (蔡俊涛) as Lei Qingtian; and Chen Yating (陈雅婷) as Shangguan Feiyan.
A co-production between Shenzhen Media Group, West Coast, and Shanghai Jurui, the 50-episode Detectives and Doctors was primarily filmed in Hengdian World Studios. It is planned for a 2014 release.

Oh he has fans. Just they’re not very vocal unless its at his concert and as fans thats all you need to do. Show support by attending concerts, watching his dramas, buying his dramas blah blah.
Everyone else who does not fall into that category are either non-fans OR crazy princesses dreaming about having Raymond and themselves riding on a unicorn over a rainbow. But since the entrance of his new youthful girlfriend, that dream shattered to a million pieces.
The rest is history.

Another remake?? I wish they would adapt novels that have not been done for a long time or have not been done at all… I am tired of the same old remakes over and over again…

dunno whats wrong with his personal life got to do with his acting skills and good movie? is it happening in Asia that famous people’s life are everybody’s else business? somehow i love western’s culture more sigh…. as long as those actors/actress can present good movie for me to watch and get entertained, thats all i care. cant wait this DVD!

Head shots of actors/actresses lined up together – the same tired and predictable poster design formula for all costumed dramas from HK and China. You’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all. When are creative posters going to materialize??

Every actor and actress has fans and haters…If I don’t like that actor or actress…I just would not comment or don’t watch his/her drama that much…but I would not give evil and bad comment (such as die, cancer…) what is evil heart is it???
