Him Law Injured On Set “Tiger Cubs 2”
Him Law (羅仲謙) sustained an injury while filming an action scene for Tiger Cubs 2 <飛虎 II> on July 22. He was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment and received two stitches. Him has since recovered and was back on the set the very next day.
An action-heavy series, Tiger Cubs has a history of on-set injuries. While filming the original series in 2011, Christine Kuo (苟芸慧) accidentally hit her head on a telephone booth. Later, Savio Tsang’s (曾偉權) face was grazed by a plastic bullet. Ngo Ka Nin (敖嘉年) also suffered a slip during a fighting scene, his knee unfortunately hitting colleague Raymond Sin (單俊偉) in the forehead, injuring both.
Him was at TVB City this morning to shoot an explosion scene for Tiger Cubs 2. As he was falling away from the explosions, Him landed on fragments of tempered glass that were on the ground. The glass pierced through his left buttock, at an area just above the thigh. Him was bleeding heavily. The crew immediately applied first aid to the wound and sent him to the emergency room. Him received two stitches and was sent home to rest. Producer Lam Chi Wah (林志華) stated he will rearrange Him’s action scenes for the next two days to give him time to heal.
Reporters contacted Him after the accident. He appeared to be in good spirits and said that he will be more careful in the future. He said that the producer will schedule scenes according to his recovery progress, and asked fans not to worry. Him joked that there were female nurses present during his surgery, which made him rather embarrassed. He also shared that he is still in some pain and must sleep on his side to avoid hurting the wound.

Wow, Him Law is being promoted to act 1st lead actor, paired up with Myolie Wu, so soon. How about Ron Ng, Edwin Siu, Vincent Wong, etc.? They assumed heavier supporting roles in the last two years, and they are still acting supporting roles. Well, it is never fair in TVB.
Remember ron was given his chance to act as lead role over kenneth, sammul, years ago, just that he didnt act well. If him doesnt do well, he would be pushed back down to supporting as well.
I think they’re given a shot and if it doesn’t work out, back to where they were and another’s chance to go up.
Along with this news, theres also the news on Linda getting injured from an explosion scene when it went off unexpectedly. It gave me a scare as i started thinking of Selina! (The SHE one, not the crazy one)
Thankfully, it continued to say that it was just hand grenades with limited firepower, and she was mostly uninjured.

I’m sure he didnt say anything, word just got out from reporters, i believe that if the reporters never knew, we wouldn’t have known. And its not like he’s bragging about how painful it was too.
If you are going to get hurt, the buttocks is actually the best part of the body to hurt because you would recover the quickest. No need to fuss over something so minor.
I was hoping he would get Tavia pregnant soon, but looks like that won’t be happening for a while.
