Kenneth Ma Sees Charmaine Sheh as an Ideal Woman
Rumor-prone artists Kenneth Ma (馬國明) and Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼) chose to address their latest romance gossip with humor. While Kenneth feels that he is not good enough to date his co-star, Charmaine instead gave him encouragement, calling him professional and a gentleman.
Currently filming TVB mini movie A Time of Love <愛情來的時候> in Singapore, Kenneth and Charmaine got along well on set and some claimed that Charmaine is putting the moves on TVB’s most eligible bachelor. Charmaine raised objection to these reports on January 14, joking that Kenneth is the one initiating the chase.
Single and similar in age, many are expecting love sparks from this new pairing. Although Kenneth easily joked that he would consider courting Charmaine, in actuality, he finds himself undeserving and feels that he is a poor match for TVB’s top sister. “Over eighty percent of Charmaine matches my image of an ideal partner. The remaining twenty percent is that my career is not as great as hers, and that I don’t make as much as she does. I will continue to work hard!”
Charmaine however has a higher opinion of Kenneth and agrees with his eligible bachelor title. “He is very humble and very high level [quality]. We have good chemistry working together and it feels fresh.” She took the opportunity to market herself as well, stressing that she is also very eligible.
Receiving such high praise, Kenneth regained confidence in his chances and promised to let everyone know once he puts his courting plans into action. Although the two seem unlikely to pursue anything serious, their harmonious working relationship will surely add sparks to their first-ever on-screen collaboration.

Maybe despite all his bravado talk he may be in love with someone else who can’t reciprocate or he is just not good at wooing women he is interested in.
But it’s not like he’s ever going to say woman xyz isn’t really his ideal partner because of so and so characteristics or any other reason LOL.

Kevin is handsome, but i heard he has bad temper. I am not Ken’s fans, in fact i don’t like his acting, but I heard he is very good man….I am Sheh’s fans…glad to see her has a nice man to go with!
I think Charmaine Sheh likes to have a smart and very independent guy to be her husband. A man with a mild bad temper may not be bad for her as long as he loves her. A nice guy is not always good to be a husband ………….. sometimes nice guy wants to be too nice and cannot make good decisions for his wife.
Charmaine.. I always have this feeling she is attracted to
1. pretty boys (who isn’t?)
2. not muscular, masculine but has the looks of a learned soft feminine-ish scholarly look (not to be mistaken with actual scholars)
3. soft spoken
I have a feeling her ideal is Chilam who unfortunately was already taken. Everybody else seems to have some resemblance of Chilam.
Ok, maybe not creep Benny Chan but when he was much younger and wasn’t a creep he was decent looking.
I am hoping for Charmaine-Kevin pair though. Beautiful guy, beautiful girl, both quite street smart as well.

Charmaine seems to favour good looking guy, someone look younger than his age. She also likes the not-too-sweet-talking men, taking Benny Chan and KC as examples.
Hence, Ma Ming doesn’t seem to qualify anything.
I think Benny Chan is a sweet-talking guy, but not Kevin Cheng. I am glad that Charmaine Sheh broke up with Benny Chen long time ago.
Personally I don’t like Mama’s boy.
If you are his mother, it is good. But if you are his wife, it will not be good. He may still rely on his mother to make decisions for him, and it is rather difficult to have a super nice mother-in-law.
I’m Sheh’s fan too 🙂 I think Ken may be a good choice for her because he is modest, nice and he is a gentleman 🙂 unlike kevin … cocky guy

I don’t think Charmaine Sheh and Kenneth Ma are matched in personality.
This I agree- although as viewers we wouldnt know what their real personalities are like, but how Charmaine and Kenneth seem through interviews/behind the scenes, their personalities don’t seem to match at all imo :S
Personally I don’t think many girls want to be Kenneth Ma’s girlfriends or future wife …………. it is not good if he thinks about his mother all the time. It is good to have a filial son to be a husband, but it is bad too ………….. there will be a lot of conflicts if he puts his mother first all the time.
