Michael Miu and Bosco Wong’s “Guardian Angels” to Air After “Fist Fight”
Taking over the time slot of TVB’s Fist Fight <兄弟> will be Shaw Brothers’ Guardian Angel <守護神之保險調查>, an action mystery series about a team of insurance investigators who are tasked to solve seemingly impossible insurance frauds. It stars buddy duo Michael Miu (苗僑偉) and Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), supported by Annie Liu (劉心悠), and Kate Tsui (徐子珊).
Guardian Angels boasts a star-studded supporting cast, including Hui Shiu-hung (許紹雄), Hugo Ng (吳岱融), Wilson Tsui (艾威), Maggie Shiu (邵美琪), Irene Wan (溫碧霞), Philip Keung (姜皓文), Deon Cheung (張松枝), Hedwig Tam (談善言), MC Jin, Sing Lam (林耀聲), Mak Cheung-ching (麥長青), Alex Lam (林德信), and Mimi Kung (龔慈恩).
A modern action series, Guardian Angels centers on a team of insurance agents working in Hong Kong. The series was also shot in location in Mainland China, Malaysia, and the Czech Republic. Playing a love-hate relationship, Bosco and Annie shared at their Beijing press conference that they shot their “most intense bed scene ever” for the show.
The theme of Guardian Angels is performed by Taiwanese singer A-Lin, who has recorded both Mandarin and Cantonese versions.
Guardian Angels premieres December 24, 2018.
