Eliza Sam and Michael Miu Star in New Crime Drama

After tying the knot with her husband Joshua Ngo in 2016, Eliza Sam (岑麗香) welcomed their first child, Jacob, in 2019. Focusing on family life, Eliza reduced her project load and only filmed one drama before giving birth to Julius in 2021. Spending the next few years on her family, Eliza Sam took a temporary hiatus from the entertainment industry.

Returning to work in 2024, Eliza filmed new HOY TV drama, I Love Kowloon City (我愛九龍城), opposite Carlos Chan (陳家樂). Currently, Eliza is filming Media Asia’s crime drama with Michael Miu (苗僑偉), Michael Tse (謝天華) and Catherine Chau (周家怡).  The cast was spotted filming recently in Foshan and were seen wearing bullet-proof vests, indicating an action-packed series.

In addition to Eliza’s return, the drama also marks Michael Miu’s return to the small screen after taking a four-year break. The cases allegedly take inspiration from true crime.  Due to Media Asia’s longstanding relationship with TVB, the drama will likely be aired on the latter’s television network to Hong Kong audiences.
