Aaron Kwok Protects His Home with Feng Shui Arrangement
The Wuhan coronavirus outbreak is still going strong, with no signs of stopping anytime soon. With 56 confirmed cases within its borders, Hong Kong is encouraging its citizens to stay home as much as they can. Many businesses have been affected, and schools are temporarily shut down.
Aaron Kwok (郭富城), who has been on tour in the United States, had no choice but to leave the city, but before leaving his home, he made sure his family was safe. Living with two young children and older parents, Aaron had to stay cautious. The singer recently added a “nine golden dragon” feng shui arrangement on the roof of his home as a move to dispel diseases. Aaron admitted that he added the arrangement to protect his family’s health.
Many of Moka’s relatives still live in the mainland, but due to strict border controls to prevent the outbreak from spreading, Moka and his parents are stuck in Hong Kong.
Aaron has encouraged people to stay home as much as they can. “Don’t go out unless you absolutely have to. Schools aren’t open, so just stay in. My daughter can sing at home,” he had said.

It depends and it may be non sense to us, but sadly many believe in it like their life depends on it. My late father believed in that feng Shui stuff and gosh was it annoying. One of my cousins and friends believe in it too. My friend moved 2 times as she claimed the house she was living in was facing the wrong direction. I was like “what the heck?”

You’d be surprised and shocked to know that some of the most wealthy and influential people are also the most superstitious. For example, some in the HK own ‘ghost babies’ for luck and fortune, others carry thai amulets infused with corpse oil for luck.

My sis in law told me her rich friend from Taiwan or HK, invited a fengshui master from HK to look at their home in the us. They paid for hotel and everything. My brother in law said all rich Chinese believe it, even more so than normal folks. Even the Japanese believe it. Word is that the Japanese set up fengshui between their old capital and Tokyo to enhance their country’s prosperity more than a hundred years ago they say that is why Japan got so rich after.
if you listen to the older hk artists, they talk about it and truly believe that it helped them. It makes me wonder if the west coincidentally setup good fengshui for themselves without realizing since they r doing pretty well. Thing is, people always believe what they choose to believe no matter how ridiculous.
Nothing wrong with believing Feng Shui but hopefully Aaaron also do many good deeds and avoid bad deeds. Nothing is better than good karma and nothing is worse than bad karma.
