Song Kang and Kim Yoo-jung to Pair in “My Demon”

Following the well-received Taxi Driver 2, a bumper crop of Kdramas from SBS are set to air, including Dr Romantic 3 and The First Responders Season 2. A new fantasy drama in the works titled My Demon has also been announced, with the refreshing, anticipated pairing of the gorgeous Kim Yoo Jung and hunky Song Kang as leads!

Thrilling Fantasy

Helmed by one of the scriptwriters of My Queen Choi Ah-il, it tells the story of Chaebol (conglomerate) heiress Do Do Hee and the demon Jung Koo Won who loses his powers overnight after saving her. An inter-species romance blossoms between the two.

With an aloof and elegant appearance that belies a wild inner world, Do Do Hee is like cup of sea salt latte – boasting sweetness and savoriness in each sip, while Jung Koo Won is that oxymoronic “hot” iced coffee, who has to work with Do Do Hee to recover his lost powers as his confidence takes a hit. Having headlined hit series like Lovers of the Red Sky and Backstreet Rookie, child actress Kim Yoo-jung is the rising star to watch out for!

Impressing viewers as Lee Si Woo in Forecasting Love and Weather, The Demon caps first SBS drama for Song Kang. The 28-year-old boyish hunk has previously hosted SBS music program Inkigayo, and is a fixed cast member of award-wining reality show Village Survival, The Eight. Fans are eagerly looking forward to the onscreen chemistry between the two beautiful leads in the context of the fantasy-thriller and action drama.
