Bai Lu Calls Out Fan Behavior

Chinese actress Bai Lu (白鹿), who has risen to top-star status thanks to multiple hit dramas, is reportedly followed by an obsessive fan who tailgated the vehicle she was riding in. Although the driver tried repeatedly to change lanes to shake the follower off, the person continued to cling closely behind. The usually mild-mannered Bai Lu could not hide her anger, eventually asking for the car to stop and getting out herself to confront the situation head-on.

Boundary-crossing Behavior

Behind-the-scenes footage online shows Bai Lu stepping out of the car with an unusually stern expression, scanning the surrounding vehicles sharply, and trying to identify the stalker hidden among the traffic. However, she did not manage to catch anyone at the scene.

Based on information circulating online, this is not the first time Bai Lu has been harassed by obsessive fans. She has reportedly received late-night calls where no one spoke—only eerie breathing could be heard. There have also been incidents of fans getting onto the floor of the hotel where she was staying and ringing doorbells at random, as well as blocking her nanny van at close range to take secret photos— then posting provocative videos online to test boundaries.

In response, Bai Lu’s studio quickly issued a strong statement condemning such malicious behavior, saying it not only seriously violates the artist’s privacy but also endangers road traffic safety. The studio stressed, “We respect every bit of support, but we will never tolerate any behavior that crosses the line.” Her management added that for repeated, unrepentant misconduct, they will take legal action to protect her rights and will no longer show leniency. They also urged the public to shift attention back to her work and give artists the space and respect they deserve.

The actress, whose real name is Bai Mengyan (白夢妍), once traveled to South Korea to participate in an SM Entertainment audition, but was not selected, later entering the modeling industry. Signing under famed producer Yu Zheng (于正), she began gaining attention after playing dual roles in Untouchable Lovers <凤囚凰>, moving audiences with her portrayal of Shi Yi in One and Only <周生如故>, and more recently xianxia drama Till the End of the Moon <长月烬明>, romance drama Only for Love <以爱为营>, and Story of Kunning Palace <宁安如梦>, while Unveil: Jadewind <唐宫奇案之青雾风鸣> is set to push her popularity even higher.
