Wilson Tsui Strips Nude for Horror Movie

Former TVB actor Wilson Tsui (艾威) bared it all for the upcoming Hong Kong horror film, The Great Yinyang Hotel <陰陽大酒店>, directed by Stephan Yip (葉天行). The 55-year-old completely stripped himself nude for the scene. With the presence of the media, he hid his front parts with only a few leaves.

“This is my first time. I am sacrificing for art,” he said.

After serving TVB for over 30 years, Wilson left the station in 2012 to film for HKTV. When HKTV failed to obtain a free-to-air license from the Hong Kong government, leaving many of its artistes without a home, TVB reached out and asked for its former actors to return. Despite his struggles to find a job, Wilson refused to go back.

Fortunately for Wilson, his close friends in the industry helped out, and he was able to grab a few moving and stage productions. He agreed to film four movies in a row, perform in theater productions, and host many online television programs.

To prepare for his nude scene in The Great Yinyang Hotel, which also stars Pakho Chau (周柏豪) and Shiga Lin (連詩雅), Wilson called up his good friend Chin Siu Ho (錢小豪), who stripped nude in the zombie film Rigor Mortis <殭屍>, to ask for help on how to bulk up in the shortest amount of time. Wilson lost six pounds of fat in just a few weeks. Wilson and costar Tyson Chak (泰臣) filmed the jaw-dropping scene in Malaysia earlier last month.

“If I was given enough time, I would have more time to train my body to look better,” said Wilson. On his feelings about doing the exposing scene, he said, “I don’t feel anything special. Just a bit colder! It’s my first time after all, but I do feel that I’m a bit too old to do one. However, it’s never too late for anything!”
