Shiga Lin to Release New Song

Shiga Lin (連詩雅) is releasing a new song this June, which is her first song in four years. She explained, “It was delayed until because of the pandemic, my wedding, and having a baby. I considered writing a song for my daughter, but this one isn’t. This song is about my life and growth, an end to a mid-phase era as I step into a new stage of life.”

Currently, Shiga does not have a plan for a second baby as raising a child is very costly. Her daughter is now 10 months old and already attending playgroup, learning to swim, and taking baby fitness classes. Her husband, Carlos Chan (陳家樂), is also keen to develop their daughter’s musical skills so they are working hard to save up for her education.

Earlier, Carlos boasted in online show The Bros Club <巴打圍爐> about his 100 percent success rate in pursuing girls. Shiga explained, “I saw that. He meant that he only makes a move if he sees potential for a relationship.” When asked if Carlos was the one to first pursue her, Shiga replied, “We really clicked and naturally ended up together–it’s fate.”
