It’s time to vote for the female celebrity that you believe deserves the title of the “2011 Sexiest Woman Alive in Hong Kong Award”! This poll was created by popular demand after Ruco Chan won JayneStars.com’s “2011 Sexiest Man Alive in Hong Kong Award,” a poll which captured mass interest, with votes pouring in from over 150 countries!
How Candidates Were Selected
Fifty female celebrities were selected as nominees for JayneStars.com’s “2011 Sexiest Woman Alive in Hong Kong Award.” The candidates included television and film actresses with recent projects released in Hong Kong, models, as well as socialites. Although their ages vary, they possess a unique and sexy aura that make each woman attractive in her own way.
How to Vote
Each person may place 1 vote every 24 hours. The full 24 hours must pass before you can place your vote again. For example, if you attempt to vote after 23 hours, you will be unable to do so.

Ruco’s awards package arrived in HK ; currently waiting for his fan club to confirm that he got the package and booklet of fan comments. Ruco has been very busy traveling due to overseas gigs, so maybe he has been busy and difficult to meet with his fan club. Let’s be patient and hope there is good news soon.

Ruco’s award was a triangular shaped award made of stone. It is a desktop award, similar to the corporate employee recognition awards used. If I did not have to send it all the way to Hong Kong and worry that it might get shattered, I would have chosen a crystal award for more elegance.
I also sent him a t-shirt gift and booklet of fan comments. I took photos but didn’t want to post them online yet…was hoping that he would be the first to see the award before fans do. Hehe I’ll wait a little longer and hope to receive confirmation that he got our package soon.
Ruco comes across as a person who appreciates his fans very much, constantly thanking them and overall a very grateful person. I think he will like the fan booklet very much should he have the time to read them in entirety. It’s the thought that counts and once again, thanks to everyone who participated and made the poll and award more meaningful!
Maybe can ask her in her weibo. She seems to check it frequently.
This is quite hard to vote. Not many in the above list are sexy to me, unlike the actors list.
Kate has the sexy look. But after seeing how tomboy her mannerism is in her fans meet with Michelle Tse, I can’t vote for her liao. Lol.
Carina Lau is sexy when she’s younger. But, she looks kinda old now.
I guess I can vote for Christy Chung. She has the natural sexiness.

I’m surprised you say that not many women are sexy on the list, when many of them dress very sexily at promo events. I find at least a dozen of them to be quite sexy.

I’m surprised you would consider someone sexy just because they wear something revealing (at an event). Someone can dress or look sexy at that moment but it does not equate to BEING sexy or exuding sex appeal.
To me, sexiness is not about dressing revealingly. It’s the air they give off. Some women, even if they dress conservatively, still give off a certain sensualness. Some women, even if they bare a lot of skin, still does not look sexy.
I totally agree with you Kidd. I also think that sexiness is not all about showing off your skin. I personally would not give off the sexy air even if I tried to… Some women just have that air while some don’t even if they wore revealing clothing.

I agree with you that there are different degrees of sexuality that a star can exude. You seem to equate sexiness with a person’s aura more than the manner of dress. However, the manner of dress and makeup can do wonders in changing that aura though. Or a person’s playful personality and fliratious banter can make that woman sexier?
Since you mention that showing a lot of skin may not be necessarily sexy, this may be equivalent to people saying that nudity on a nude beach is not really sexy. Once you get accustomed to the amount of skin exposure, then nudity on a nude beach is the new normalcy and thus no longer sexy? The amount of skin exposure alone may not determine sexiness, but it depends on how it’s framed and draped and sometimes situational factors.

I agree with you on numbers of this list. Too many and some can’t be considered sexy. The ones came to mind were Charmaine, Jessica, and Myolie. I think they are all unique in their own way, but I wouldn’t think of them I think of sexiness.
I voted for Kate Tsui. Not a fan of her, but her face and the way she carries herself are quite sexy. Even when she’s all covered up, she still knows how to work the clothes.
The runner up for me is Michelle Reis. She’s quite hot.
I also thought of Carina as being sexy for the longest time, but I think that time has passed. and the poll did say 2011.

Tried my best in finding recent and high quality pics of Jessica and Shu Qi and i came up with the above. Unless i use much older pics of Jessica, all her recent pics feature her with ultra short hair, which is not very feminine.
I think Shu Qi looks fine in her pic; the only problem are the dark thick brows, thus the drag queen complaint. Really her pout and hooded eyes appear in most of her pics.

Very few on this list can be said to be sexy or rather exude sex appeal. Just because you bear chest, legs, what nots doesn’t make you sexy. Ok, Christy Chung is sexy. But isn’t she like passe?

Do you equate “sexy” with trashy? Sexy can be classy, subtle, and sensual and not always give a vulgar impression.
Not many can be sexy in a classy, subtle and sensual way. I can’t name anyone with that kind of aura. Unfortunately, the word ‘sexy’ is so overused (in a bad way) and from what I’ve seen, most girls/women who may be considered sexy are far from classy or respected.

From the list of the above women, I find Isabella Leong to possess this classy sensuality when she dresses up at red carpet events, wearing a nice evening gown and red lipstick really suits her well. I find that Isabella possesses a rare intensity and sensuality in her face alone. Her body is not overly voluptuous, but her eyes have a certain depth and the planes of her face are a sculptor’s dream. Very classically beautiful face, reminds me of Christy Turlington.

I don’t find many of them sexy but there are a few who I think are beautiful or at least pretty. I do have somewhat particular taste though, so celebrities I find attractive aren’t there.

Just my two cents, I don’t find any of these female artists to be sexy, I mean most of them are pretty and attractive but they just don’t exude sexiness. I find that very few female artists can actually pull off sexy, they usually come off as beautiful and sweet looking.

Kate is my sexiest woman in HK! She gives off the sexy aura with her air of confidence and great style without wearing a lot of revealing clothing. Despite being confident, she’s also hardworking and determined. A fighter girl! I admire her for not letting all the criticism get to her and improving her acting. Bernice is also sexy too.

My vote goes to Kate. Shu Qi has done a lot of sexy performances but I don’t find her attractive as her face is a little off to me. I also think Cecilia Cheung is sexy in that sort of wild, psycho way.
Despite Kate’s tomboyish personality I do think she’s quite the vixen, especially when she dances or catwalks. Ella Koon is another one I’d put in this category, although from certain angles she looks too girly.
Bernice is sexy, but like Kate, can also look scary with her eyes sometimes.
Nancy is more of an ice queen than sexy, the others are either too pretty / sweet looking. And then others look like drag queens.
To me, it’s rather hard to determine which star is sexy with the majority-if not all having makeup on. I personally prefer natural seexiness without the makeup plastered on to distort the ‘real you’ without makeup so I consider their appearance WITH AND WITHOUT the makeup.

There aren’t much on the list I would think of as sexy. Some are pretty, some are cute, some elegant, feminine, etc. but not many sexy. There’s a lot more sexy korean stars, imo.
And I agree that this is more of a popularity contest. I think Kate and Bernice are two of the few that are sexy, but Tavia’s probably just getting the votes from her blind fans (like always).
Poor Samantha Ko. With that figure, she still hasn’t gotten a vote.
To be fair, Tavia does look kinda sexy in that picture chosen by Jayne. If I didn’t know any of then stars and just base on the pictures provided by Jayne, I’d say Tavia is one of the sexy ones.
I would never equate Selena Li with the word ‘sexy’. Her look is way too sweet and fluffy.
It seems as if the majority of commentators so far have been women, thus we hear of theories on sexy for a woman being the complete aura etc.
Perhaps men see a sexy woman based on different parameters. Many men do equate a big chest with sexy, skin exposure, and whether she possess an angel face or sexy face doesn’t matter. That said, my hubby thinks the sexiest in the poll is Mavis Pan. 🙂

I find Linda has a sexy body, nice long legs, good proportions and muscle tone. Not just frail skinny with big boobs type of body.
She does have a sweet face, but she would fall into type called “angel face, devil body.” She has her sexy side, just not oozing sensuality like others.
I think if a woman has a decent S-shape body, she will have her sexy side.

Based on comments on this site, I feel women like Kate’s looks more, due to her good style sense etc.
I feel men focus more on the face and body and don’t really care about the hair or style sense. Men’s perception of an attractive girl is different than women. They seem to like “in your face type of blunt sexuality” such as Maxim photo shoots, rather than the more complex definition of sexy as per women.
I’ll like to add that men are more visually stimulated while women are more stimulated by the mind and emotions. Thus pornography appeals to men more than women, who may prefer romance novels instead.

Ruco’s fan club in Hong Kong has already received JayneStars’ awards package. However, I did not receive confirmation that his fan club have given him the package yet. Considering Ruco’s travel schedule recently, it is probably difficult to get a hold of him. Although I am as eager as everyone else to hear that he got the package and hopefully what he thinks of it, let’s all be a little more patient in waiting. When I hear of good news, I will be sure to let everyone know by blasting it on Facebook, Twitter, Weibo, and elsewhere. 🙂
