Aaron Kwok and Moka Fang Welcome Their Second Baby

Congratulations to Aaron Kwok (郭富城), 53, and Moka Fang (方媛), 31, on the arrival of their second child!

Aaron took to Instagram to make the announcement on April 18. He posted a family photo of four overlapping hands along with the message and expressed, “Today, I am very happy as it’s a very special day. I would like to share with you my family’s good news: Chantelle is a sister now, our second treasure is healthy, and mommy worked hard! As of today… we will happily go on as a family of four… thank you again for everyone’s blessings… I am grateful!”

Aaron’s longtime manager Leung May May (小美) thanked reporters for their concern and said, “He wants to share a happy event with you all today – that is, he has a new addition in his family. She is a little princess – chubby and pale-skinned, very lovely.”

She also revealed the couple did not name the baby yet, but will temporarily call her Kwok’s second treasure (郭二寶). Her team has sent flowers and baby supplies to their home, where Aaron is currently spending time with his family, as it is his second wedding anniversary with his wife. “We hope the family of four is happy,” the manager said. “Thank you again for your blessings.”

      1. @nigel cute isn’t it? the 4 heavenly kings all have daughters. Jacky has 2, now Aaron has 2 girls too. Given his obsession to give his mother a grandson, he will likely chase for a boy.

      2. @janet72 he can definitely do that lo coz the coffee is so young. Plenty of time & energy to pop. Actually come to think of it, it’s actuslly good that Aaron & Leon both married late. Atleast they are not hypocrites like Andy Hui.

  1. Uh, so fast, what’s the age gap lol? Are they gonna popping it out as much as they can lol? Soon he will Be father of 4 daughters at this rate lol. 4 heavenly kings will turn to 4 heavenly princesses xD

  2. Ok la like Cathy Tsui, 4 kids within 10 years haha. Otherwise what else can she do??

      1. @janet72 exactly that’s why she has to pop fast else can’t compete for the inheritance with the bro in law who has triplet boys lol. Cathy’s parents groomed her from young paving the way for her to get into hou moon much like how Catherine’s mum in UK did the same for her to meet her Prince William by enrolling her at the right school where the royals go to.

      2. @nigel Cathy has to produce a boy after 2 girls…her brother in law got a surrogate to produce triplets. Cathy’s husband is 2nd son…the old man must have grandsons. it was mentioned somewhere the old man didn’t even attend the Cathy’s 2nd daughter’s 100 days party.

  3. I chuckled reading this. Didn’t the reports say that they’re expecting a boy this time? Too bad that the heavenly kings can’t break their “father in law” fate. He can try again and again and again………

    1. @passingby2 I thought the 2nd one will be a boy. it’s ok, Moka is still young and can try again. after all Aaron said he likes a big family.

  4. Isn’t it Carol Chu supposed be pregnant again? Hopefully it’s a boy for them it would be perfect if one each unless they don’t care if it’s a boy or girl.

    1. @cutie777
the couple never said they cared. only the media and everyone else around is saying so. sometimes these traditional thinking pushes the ones who don’t care to become nervous thinking that they should really have a son.

  5. well i’m kinda dismayed by the amt of people making it sound like having a girl is some bad news. now if ppl are sad for them because they like to see genders balanced in families, that’s one thing. but from the sound of it, people seem to think having a boy is better (although technically that is the case since that’s asian culture for you — but i thought that was changing since china has a huge sex imbalance ratio.)

it’s great that aaron and moka have two little daughters who are close in age and will have each other as companions when they’re older.

    1. @coralie
it’s the sad truth even in this day and age many still do think boys are better. i think it’s okay to have a preference for a certain gender but it’s not okay to make it sound like people have to continue if they didn’t get the preferred gender. whatever number of children the parents decide to have is their problem. they could have 10 if them love children. it is actually quite inconsiderate for people to tell parents to try again for another gender. some people may not be able to have more children so i’d bite my tongue making such comments.

      1. @m0m0 yea you bring up a good point. asking them to chase for more just to get another gender insults the babies that already exist. i still don’t know how i feel about gender preference, because everyone obviously has one, but those are shaped by the culture and environment around us, meaning it will always be skewed depending where you’re brought up.

    2. @coralie I dont think its necessary as bad these days, but I think most couples want both i.e. at least one boy and one girl.

My friends family cant break the male grandkiddy curse. They are dying to have a girl baby lol.

      1. @megamiaow yeah i can understand that. i want one of each too, if possible. but how likely is that to happen is anyone’s guess. just gotta accept what you have.

    3. @coralie Agree – I think girls are great!! They tend to be more likely to take care of their parents when they get older. But truthfully, people should be thankful for the gift of a child regardless gender. Plenty of people out there who wish for children of their own but are unable to have one 🙁

  6. I don’t think 53 year old Aaron has said he wanted a boy. Also if he tries for another kid, even if it is successfully a boy, Aaron would hit 70 before the boy turns 16….
