Aimee Chan Does Not Want to Film With Moses Chan Again

As the holiday season draws closer, Aimee Chan (陳茵媺) and her children just visited Moses Chan (陳豪) on the filming set of Big Biz Duel <企業強人> in Shenzhen, but they plan to visit again so the family can spend Christmas together.

“I was thinking of bringing the children and my mother-in-law to meet up with Moses. He has to film until December 23 so we may travel afterward. But I haven’t planned anything yet,” Aimee said.

The Chan family loves to give each other surprises. Asked what is the most memorable surprise Moses has given her, Aimee sweetly smiled before replying, “It makes me very happy when he sends me a text message even though he is very busy. Saying something sweet is already a very good present. It’s easy to forget these things when you are very busy, so it’s really surprising when I receive them.” Aimee’s children will often write notes to express their love, which is a nice surprise for her as well.

Aimee’s comeback drama, Romeo and His Butterfly Lover <羅密歐與祝英台>, has unfortunately not received favorable reviews on Douban, with netizens pointing out the weak plot. Aimee replied, “I feel that we shouldn’t focus too much on the ratings. You need to watch the entire series before taking a look at the ratings. Every story is like a book–there will be people who like it and people who don’t… All I can say is every cast member put a lot of heart into filming.”

Asked if there is a chance Aimee will film another drama with Moses again, she immediately replied, “I don’t think so. It’s not even problems that arose while filming, but it’s how it affected our family life. When one of our children gets sick, no one is able to watch them or help because we’re both filming. So this is likely the first and last time we’ll film together.” However, Aimee is still passionate about acting and is looking forward to new challenges and working with other actors.
