Aimee Chan Resumes Filming for TVB Drama

Just as Aimee  Chan (陳茵媺) and Moses Chan (陳豪) begin filming for upcoming TVB drama Romeo and His Butterfly Lover <羅密歐與祝英台>, the couple took a pause after their daughter Camilla tested positive with COVID-19. Thankfully, Camilla had a speedy recovery and the couple was able to return to the set.

Many fans are excited to see Aimee resume her acting career after the mother of three took a hiatus to care for her family. While Aimee and Moses played siblings in 2010’s drama Master of Play <心戰>, they will be a couple in the Romeo and His Butterfly Lover.

Giving fans a glimpse of her character styling, Aimee is seen with short hair while wearing a sleek shirt and trousers. Sharp eyed netizens point out that Aimee’s character has a tattoo on the back of her right hand.

Speaking with the media, Aimee gave an update to her family life and how they are doing after contracting COVID-19, “My daughter was very strong but she had a very high fever. The first few days were really hard, but the kids recovered quickly. The helper and driver were diagnosed (with COVID-19) first and might have accidentally infected my daughter. It was a bit scary because they are kids and it was my youngest daughter.”

Aimee continued, “At that time, I just started working and I was worried about infecting others. I was worried that all three of my children would get COVID-19 so I wore my masks to sleep. Moses actually requested that and he kept spraying sanitizer. Moses was responsible for taking care of my youngest daughter and I was responsible for taking care of my two sons. We would clean and cook at 5:30pm and I stayed up till 12:30am. It was truly an unforgettable experience.

  1. That choker that she’s wearing and overall styling is very 90s. Wonder if this is a coming of age type of drama. Overall, I don’t have high hopes for this. She can’t act unless motherhood enlightened her acting skills.

    1. Lol, I remember have afew of those chokers in the 90s… I could carry a choker when I was young but definitely not anymore…lol

      1. Feel bad. Probably been a stay home mom for too long. She’s stuck in the past’s fashion trend and now trying to rock the choker necklace. Wish someone told her, kinda feel bad for her in a way

  2. No doubt she is an affable person but as a TV actress, her past roles are hardly memorable and bland. Furthermore, she isn’t fluent in Cantonese and doesn’t possess the innate talent in acting. Wrong move by TVB executives if they thought that having Aimee returning to the TV screen could boost their dismal ratings. I’d rather watch Ali and Alice as leading actresses in upcoming dramas/sitcoms as they are more charismatic and versatile than Aimee.

  3. Because of her husband that why she has drama!! She Aged a lot and can’t Act !!’just stay home with your kids

  4. Wonder why she wanted to come back to the screen. Even Linda was struggling with her comeback And Linda was among a leading actress. She wasn’t even ever casted as a leading actress in the past. Yikes! Something tells me this is a no no ..
