Benjamin Yuen Mistaken for Ricco Ng in Indecent Video
Ricco Ng (吳偉豪) made headlines this week for appearing in a leaked video showing the actor rubbing himself while showering. Due to their similar Chinese names, Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪) was mistaken for being Ricco and attacked by netizens for his indecent behavior in the viral shower clip.
It is surprising that some netizens confused the two actors, as 39-year-old Benjamin won Mr. Hong Kong 2007 and is already a seasoned actor while 22-year-old Ricco is a rising star in Come Home Love: Lo and Behold <愛．回家之開心速遞>.
After mistaking Benjamin for being the man in the uncensored shower clip, netizens left crude comments on Benjamin’s social media page: “I saw you XX, you are so small”; “Why are you filming yourself in the shower? You should act more properly after getting married” and “Don’t shower and film yourself again–mind your image.”
Two hours later, Benjamin discovered the anomalies on his social media page and replied with a cry-laughing emoji: “Wrong person.”
Fans also stepped in to comment that Benjamin was mistaken for Ricco and found the incident to be hilarious. In addition, they provided proof that Ricco is the man in the showering video since both have similar body shape, dimples, and two moles on the chest.
While Ricco has not responded to the allegations yet, TVB executive Virginia Lok (樂易玲) stated the actor has already reported the incident to the police.
