[Celebrity Homes] Zheng Shuang Has Her Own Indoor Beach

Zheng Shuang (郑爽) went all out in designing her new two-story home in Shenyang, even installing her own mini indoor beach.

In an upcoming episode for the Chinese reality show Rang Sheng Huo Hao Kan <让生活好看> (literally “Let Life Look Good”), Zheng Shuang showed the viewers a tour of her new two-story independent house in the city of Shenyang in northern China. Her parents also came along for the ride.

 

Zheng Shuang’s house looks sleek and modern, but the area that is catching the most attention isn’t the house’s stylish dining area or its spacious outdoor patio—it is the underground level.

On Thursday, Zheng Shuang shared a photo of an indoor beach that she had built herself in the underground level of her home. The mini beach is right below the patio, built with glass ceiling doors so natural light can stream in. The floor is covered with 20 kg (approximately 44 lbs) of sand, forming a mini sand hill so Zheng Shuang can be in her element all day, any day.

The Love O2O <微微一笑很倾城> actress has shared that she has a love for beaches. She can now enjoy the beach in the comfort of her home. “Have you ever thought about building your own beach in your home? I can’t believe it’s real now!” she wrote.
