Felix’s brotherly pals are the silver lining in his life.
Actor Felix Wong (黃日華), who lost his wife Leung Kit Wah (梁潔華) to leukemia in May, suffered a huge blow as the two shared a very loving relationship. With the help and support of his daughter Adrian Wong (黃芷晴) and good friends, Felix is slowly moving out of his grief as he resumes the rhythm of daily life. Celebrating his 59th birthday on September 4 with Eddie Cheung (張兆輝), Felix seemed relaxed and at ease.
Adrian updated her Instagram with birthday wishes for her father, who was seen posing happily with a soccer-themed birthday cake against framed mosaic photos of the family hanging on the wall behind, which she revealed was Felix’s handiwork.
“True Friends Go Through Thick and Thin”
Many of Felix’s good friends from the Hong Kong Star Soccer Team also took turns to celebrate his birthday with him. As this is Felix’s first birthday without his wife by his side as well as the pandemic, Eddie opted for a simple meal at home.
Afterward, Eddie wrote a reflective post on social media, commenting how each celebration brings back more of their shared memories, “Experiencing life…you know true friends are those who go through thick and thin with you. As my big brother, you’ve accompanied me through the low points of my life–I’ll always remember your kindness in my heart. It’s your birthday, and I don’t dare to shout out my greetings loudly, but only wish for you to be healthy and have a smooth day every day. I’ll be happy so long as you are–you’ll forever be my awesome big brother.”
Netizens left comments wishing Felix good health and happiness, and complemented him for having a great bunch of brotherly pals, while praising Eddie for being a trustworthy friend.
