Gordon Liu Watches TVB’s “Four Amigos Bon Voyage”

Gordon Liu (劉家輝) celebrated his 64th birthday on August 22. The martial arts star, who was left paralyzed on the left side of his body after suffering a stroke in 2011, has been spending his last few years in a nursing home.

A large group of close friends, including Vincent Sze (施祖男), took Gordon to a restaurant to celebrate his birthday on August 22. They prepared a large birthday cake and Gordon’s favorite dish, roasted goose leg, for dinner. Gordon’s guardian, actress Amy Fan (樊奕敏), could not make it to Gordon’s birthday celebration due to work obligations.

Amy shared that Gordon’s condition has improved immensely in the past year. He is in good spirits and no longer speaks in a slur. Amy often takes Gordon to outdoor events, and before doing so, it is usually Gordon himself who would select his own wardrobe. Gordon is happiest when he gets to hang out with his friends.

Amy further revealed that Gordon has been catching up on the TVB travel show Four Amigos Bon Voyage <4個小生去旅行>, which stars Patrick Tse (謝賢), Bowie Wu (胡楓), Kenneth Tsang (曾江), and Joe Junior. Watching the show makes Gordon eager to go on vacation. “At the moment, we are planning for a walk around Lantau Island,” Amy said. “We need more abled-body men with us, so they can support him when he walks.”

  1. I don’t understand Joe Junior at all. He can’t act. He is not funny. He doesn’t have the look. He can’t even deliver a line without fail. Who is he and why he is even remotely famous?
