Judy Kwong Gets in Shape for “Seven Princesses”

Viewers will likely see a lot more of Judy Kwong (鄺潔楹) since the 27-year-old actress signed a management contract with TVB last June. In the industry for four years, Judy has developed a steady following and is especially popular among younger male viewers due to her sweet appearance and fit figure. Best known for her appearances in Come Home Love: Lo and Behold <愛‧回家之開心速遞> and travel program Fun Abroad <3日2夜>, Judy is getting more opportunities in dramatic roles.

Set to star in the upcoming series Seven Princesses <七公主>, Judy is cast alongside Priscilla Wong (黃翠如), Rosina Lam (林夏薇), Samantha Ko (高海寧), Moon Lau (劉佩玥), Jeannie Chan (陳瀅), and Kaman Kong (江嘉敏). As she plays a lawyer and also a passionate fencer, Judy is preparing herself to  deliver a believable performance.

Fortunately her home, a 2000-square-feet villa in Clear Water Bay, is spacious enough to allow her to practice fencing skills with her domestic helper at home. The actress shared photos of herself working out and getting in shape for her role in Seven Sisters.

Few Scandals

Despite her privileged upbringing, in which her family is said to operate a lucrative furniture business,  Judy’s goal is to earn her own money and buy a property when she turns 31. She has been working diligently towards that goal and has few rumors, except for one incident last year.

Judy was linked with Mr. X, who mingles with many actresses and had allegedly come between Kaman Kong and her boyfriend in a cheating scandal last year. Judy was seen linking arms with Mr. X, who called her a “b*tch” on social media after sharing the photo. Meeting once in person and never exchanging numbers, Judy was surprised by his rudeness online but she dismissed it as part his crazy, unpredictable personality. “I will be more cautious of the people I meet and try to maintain some distance,” Judy promised.
