Kayan Yau Responds to Rumors About Her Changed Appearance

At a promotional event for the TVB drama Mrs.Revenge <夫妻的博弈>, actress Kayan Yau’s (游嘉欣) new appearance was unexpectedly questioned by Executive Producer Chung Shu Kai (钟澍佳)amid rumors that she had undergone plastic surgery.

When Chung Shu Kai took the stage, he teased Kayan and asked, “Is what the newspaper saying true? I actually noticed that you’ve lost two sized and you look prettier with different makeup.” Kayan appeared unfazed and shared her transformation journey.

Kayan acknowledged she had gotten prettier and that she went from wearing size S to XS. However, she emphasized that the changes were all natural. She shared that when she looked back at her old photos, she described herself as having a rounder face and looked like “Anpanman.”

The actress was proud that her hard work paid in losing weight paid off and shared the great length she went through during her transformation. In the early stages of her fitness plan, Kaya would run while wearing a jacket and using a heating unit. Later, Kayan adjusted her routine with a healthier approach.

When asked if Kayan still planned to lose more weight, the actress responded that she is now focused on maintaining a slim figure. She explained that as she gets older, her baby fat will naturally thin out, so she is actually eating a bit more instead of striving for extreme thinness.
