Myolie Wu Plans to Have a Baby Next Year

Myolie Wu (胡杏兒), who turned 37 years old on Sunday, held a birthday party the night before. In addition to her close friends Nancy Wu (胡定欣), Elaine Yiu (姚子羚), and Paisley Wu (胡蓓蔚), other industry friends also attended, including William So (蘇永康), Eddie Kwan (關禮傑), Mat Yeung (楊明), and more. Myolie’s father was also in attendance.

The birthday girl, who was in Ningbo, China for work, flew back to Hong Kong that weekend just for the birthday party. Though her friends did not have time to buy any birthday gifts, their presence alone was enough to make Myolie happy.

“It’s actually really hard for us to get together, even for a meal,” said Nancy.

Myolie added, “It’s even hard for us to text each other in a group chat. There’s always going to be at least one of us who would miss a conversation.”

Asking if Myolie’s husband, Philip Lee (李乘德), had prepared a birthday gift, Paisley turned to Myolie and said, “Didn’t he give you a kiss?” Myolie laughed, “Really? I don’t remember! I don’t need gifts. I just want him to be healthy.”

Speaking of her husband, are Myolie and Philip planning a baby? The actress revealed, “Yes, we are planning it. However, I have to fly back to the Mainland every once in a while for work.” (When will you be done with all your jobs at end?) “Perhaps next year.” (We’ll be waiting for the good news!) “Thank you!”
