Elaine Yiu Confirms Relationship With Edward Chui

After being reported spotted in a new relationship, Elaine Yiu (姚子羚) has opened up to the media and confirms that she is currently getting to know fellow actor Edward Chui (徐偉棟).

While attending a variety show, the media asked if Elaine was able to secure a “family pass” for Edward and the actress responded she wasn’t even able to get passes for her fans. Elaine added, “Edward is very nice so we are still getting to know each other. He is a good person because he is very simple. We talk about movies and music.”

When asked if Elaine has started talking about her future with Edward, she responded, “I talk about my future and he talks about his future. We talk a lot and became good friends.” Elaine also shared that she had known Edward for several years since filming Justice Sung Begins <狀王之王> together and had dinner with just the two of them.

The media bought up that Edward had previously praised Elaine for being kind and he admitted to pursuing the actress. Elaine was asked to comment and she responded that they have common interest and especially praised Edward for his talent in photography. Elaine revealed that she had modeled for him and was tagged in his photos.

Elaine Accused of Betraying the Nonsense Club?

Recently there are rumors that the friends in the Nonsense Club [consisting of Elaine, Myolie Wu (胡杏兒), Nancy Wu (胡定欣), Selena Lee (李施嬅), Mandy Wong (黃智雯), and Paisley Wu (胡蓓蔚)] are having a discord because there is a traitor among the friends. This came about after news were leaked to the media regarding Nancy’s relationship with a doctor and Myolie’s husband allegedly having an affair.

When Elaine and Selena were spotted missing from a recent gathering, the media suspected Elaine to be the traitor since Selena was busy filming The Queen of News 2 <新聞女王2>. When pressed for comments about her friendship with the Nonsense Club, Elaine responded that she had been seeing her friends less frequently. She shared that she recently made plans to see her the Nonsense Club but she missed out on the gathering because she got sick. When asked if Edward was taking care of her, Elaine replied that she was taking care of her dog even when she was sick.
