No Girls Allowed at Ron Ng’s World Cup Party

Yesterday, the cast of Amy Wong’s (王心慰) TVB drama Black Heart White Soul <忠奸人> gathered together to promote the series at a shopping mall in Tseung Kwan O. The 32-episode crime thriller, which stars Roger Kwok (郭晉安), Kristal Tin (田蕊妮), and Ron Ng (吳卓羲), premieres on July 14. The cast played many party games and interacted with the fans.

Currently on break, Ron said he watched most of the World Cup matches and only missed two games. During those times, he would call up close friends to watch the matches with him. Asked if he had invited any girls to his parties, he said, “All guys. Girls don’t know what’s going on most of the time. I don’t want to take care of them, and I don’t want them to pester me with questions.”

Roger and his family recently went to a sunny beach location overseas to relieve stress. Hoping for his new drama to reach high ratings, Roger treated the vacation as a pre-celebration for the drama’s ratings. Though Roger said he feels quite confident in the ratings, he still urged his fans to support the drama, saying, “There’s nothing good to watch after the World Cup, so watch Black Heart White Soul! Every rating point is encouragement for us.”

Kristal has noticeably gained some weight over the past few months. The actress explained that she and her husband, Chapman To (杜汶澤), have a habit of taking a one-month vacation in June every year so they can travel and study Buddhism. She admitted that she has been looking fuller, but argued that Chapman gained even more weight.

“I like him a bit fatter anyway. I think he’s too skinny,” she said. During the couple’s trip to the United States, Kristal was asked if they tried to conceive. Kristal laughed, “I maintained a good exercise regime. It’s good for health after all. However, we’re not interested in kids.”

  1. LMAO, Ronnie underestimated girls too much or his girl “friends” do not know that much to have no idea of what is going on most of the time. Now the girls have google to ask and if them pester him with questions, they might only act stupid. Sport is not for guys to watch recently.
