Roger Kwok Denies Romancing Hilary Chong

Both passionate about tennis, TV King Roger Kwok (郭晉安) and fellow actor Tsui Wing (徐榮), recently teamed up for a charity tennis match and took home the doubles championship.

“Nothing Is Real”

Roger, who has been playing tennis casually with friends for over ten years, revealed that he has never entered a competition until now, and is considering doing so in the future after this meaningful experience. Recently caught in eyebrow-raising “father-daughter romance” rumors with 23-year-old actress Hilary Chong (莊子璇), Roger is speculated to be working out lately with a personal trainer to impress her. Responding with a laugh, he said, “I do need to build some muscle. As I get older, fitness becomes more important, but I don’t need to be super muscular or have a ripped physique; just staying in decent shape is enough.”

When asked directly about the rumors, Roger flatly denied the hearsay. “Please don’t make wild guesses and block me from finding my true soulmate! I’m currently not seeing anyone, but if these rumors keep spreading, it’ll scare people away,”

On dating someone significantly younger, he said candidly, “Honestly, love doesn’t have an age limit. I don’t even know myself — ask me again if something actually happens,”

Believes in Ageless Love

The actor admitted that he rarely goes on dates, but has been trying recently, though he has not had much luck. “I’m an introvert (an ‘I-type’ person), so it’s tough for me,” But I’m trying — I’ll let you know if I meet someone.” When asked about his dating preferences, he replied humbly, “No requirements. Don’t make it sound like I’m such a catch.”

In response to public criticism of a potential “father-daughter” romance, he said, “Fate is unpredictable. If it happens, I’ll talk about it then. But if it’s not real, let’s not talk about it — I don’t want it to affect anyone.”

He also denied that the dating rumors were a publicity stunt for their upcoming drama Golden Forest <金式森林>, saying the series doesn’t even have a confirmed air date yet.
