Qian Feng Ends Contract With Hunan TV After Rape Accusations Surface
Chinese host of Day Day Up <天天向上>, Qian Feng (錢楓), was accused of drug raping a female artiste known by her alias as Xiao Yi (小藝) two years ago. Following the incident, Hunan Television issued a statement on August 27 indicating that the company has terminated its contract with Qian Feng.
Hunan Television cited that Qian Feng had violated the rules within the “Hunan Television TV Hosts and Artists Regulations,” resulting in his immediate suspension.
Closely following the case since the accusations surfaced, Hunan Television promised to come up with an appropriate solution. After three days of consultation, the company decided to terminate Qian Feng given his negative impact and inappropriate behavior.
Qian Feng also issued a document confirming the end of his work relationship with Hunan Television, as well as his withdrawal from Day Day Up.
In regards to Xiao Yi’s allegations, Qian Feng expressed that charges were not pressed following police investigation two years ago. “I always believe in the law and rely on the law. I will also be taking legal action against the current online rumors surrounding me.”

Such a sad case. Qian Feng has been with Day Day Up since the beginning. I hope no more scandal comes up for the remaining hosts.
