Sisley Choi and Matthew Ho Star in New TVB Drama

In a notable departure from her cop roles, Sisley Choi (蔡思貝) will be starring as a traditional Chinese medical doctor in TVB drama Let Me Take Your Pulse <你好,我的大夫> opposite Matthew Ho (何廣沛).

Since winning first runner-up in Miss Hong Kong 2013, Sisley Choi (蔡思貝) was heavily promoted and landed her first leading role in Young Charioteers <冲线>. While facing some backlash for her ambiguous educational claims and rumors of being a major flirt, Sisley overcame the gossip with her work ethics on the filming set. In 2020, Sisley became the second youngest actress to win TVB’s Best Actress for her performance in Legal Mavericks 2 <踩過界II>.

Despite a shaky start to her image, the audience has since recognized Sisley’s continued acting improvements and ability to portray a variety of roles. In her most recent undertaking, Sisley will be portraying a doctor practicing traditional Chinese medicine in Let Me Take Your Pulse.

Since TVB seldom films dramas in this genre, the company especially planned for Sisley and Matthew to learn about acupuncture. The actors have also put in a lot of work to conduct research on the topic and Matthew even consulted with his mother, who is a nurse.
