Song Hye Kyo and Lee Do Hyun Star in “The Glory”

Song Hye Kyo’s career peaked with 2016’s Descendants of the Sun, and the actress hopes working with screenwriter Kim Eun Sook for the second time will be a lucky charm. Announcements that Song Hye Kyo would lead revenge-themed drama The Glory emerged last year, but actor Lee Do Hyun’s involvement was only confirmed recently.

The Glory focuses on Song Hye Kyo’s character, a young woman with a vendetta. A former victim of bullying in school, she had to drop out and give up her dream of becoming an architect. Many years later, she is ready for retaliation by running a private elementary school with one goal in mind: to enroll the children of her bullies and finally get her revenge.

In stark contrast to Song Hye Kyo’s character, Lee Do Hyun plays an optimistic plastic surgeon in The Glory. Although many netizens are excited  Song Hye Kyo to star in the upcoming drama, netizens are worried over her 14-year age gap with the 27-year-old actor. Some joked that when Song Hye Kyo debuted, Lee Do Hyun was only a 1-year-old baby!
