South Korean Drama “D.P,” Confirmed for Second Season

Netflix’s South Korean drama D.P. is returning for a second season with leading stars Jung Hae In and Koo Kyo Hwan agreeing to reprise their roles.

The critically-acclaimed drama is praised for its realistic portrayal of the South Korean military and the sequel will likely continue following the Deserter Pursuit (D.P) unit who are tasked with catching soldiers who have deserted from their duties

To excite fans with the news of the sequel, Netflix has released a short teaser with Jung Hae In as he hesitates in crossing the pavement floor marked with the words “Season 2” inscribed on the pavement.  While Jung Hae In is deep in thoughts, Koo Kyo Hwan calls for his attention and asks, “What are you doing? Do you want me to go alone?” Jung Hae In quickly denies and the two walk off together.

While little details have been shared on the sequel, it has been revealed that director Han Jun Hee and screenwriter Kim Bo Tong have also agreed to return to helm the project and are currently working on the script.
