Squid Game 3 Release Date Confirmed

(Above) Helmed by creator Hwang Dong-hyuk, fans worldwide are eager to uncover the deeper messages in the hugely anticipated final season.
Following Season 1’s phenomenal success, which remains Netflix’s most popular series to date, Squid Game 2, released on December 26 last year, topped Netflix charts and reached the third most popular series in its history, proving the franchise’s global appeal.
The third instalment of global sensation Squid Game will follow Seong Gi-hun’s (Lee Jung-jae) crusade as he re-enters the deadly competition, while enigmatic Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) continues to hide his true identity, with the surviving contestants each facing their ultimate fate in this brutal showdown.
First-Look Photos Tease Gi-Hun’s Fate
Previously, Netflix Korea YouTube briefly previewed a teaser with a moment of eye contact between motion-sensing dolls Young-hee and Cheol-su along with the message: “Squid Game, streaming on Netflix from June 27”. However, the video was soon deleted and re-uploaded without the date, keeping fans on edge.
A newly released poster features a pink-uniformed guard dragging Contestant #214 toward a coffin wrapped in a pink ribbon. While #214 was supposedly eliminated after playing the Red Light, Green Light game – as indicated by the extinguished light on the survivor status board, the character’s black hair depiction evoked guesses that one of the powerful VIPs behind the deadly games has been disguised as a contestant.
A handcuffed and seething Gi-hun stares up at a shadowy figure — the aftermath of his failed attempted uprising which is a key development in season 3; another shows the Front Man wearing his signature black mask; Kang Ha (Park Gyu-young) is also depicted in a pink uniform, further raising speculation about her role in the upcoming season.

Annoying that they marketed it as Season 2 and Season 3. It should have been Season 2 part 1 and 2.
