Lee Jung Jae Rumored to Star in New Marvel Movie 

After gaining global recognition for his role in Squid Game, South Korean actor Lee Jung Jae is rumored to be joining Marvel Cinematic Universe.

An American industry insider broke the news on Twitter and shared that  Lee Jung Jae is currently in talks with Marvel to appear in an upcoming movie. Although little details are known at this time, many netizens speculate that the actor will be starring as supervillain Mr. Negative form the Spider-Man series.

Although Lee Jung Jae declined to comment on the rumors, the actor’s answer drew attention for its similarity to fellow actor Park Su Joon’s response before confirming that he will be joining The Marvels.

If accepted, Lee Jung Jae will be the fourth South Korean actor to join the Marvel franchise following Claudia Kim in Avengers Age of Ultron, Don Lee in The Eternals and Park Seo Joon in The Marvels.

  1. Not sure about Park Seojoon, the rest are secondary supporting. So im hoping he is more tony leung than the rest. But his english isn’t great. No harm, he can speak alien language and get subtitles. Point is without tony leung, sang chi is unwatchable. Hope he proves the same, to show power of asian actors that are truly from asia.

    1. i don’t know what the rave w/ shangchi was all about. people were saying how great it was. i thought it was just another super hero movie tbh, nothing ground breaking. in fact, pretty boring.
