Tavia Yeung Looks Forward to Celebrating Lunar New Year
TVB period drama Against the War in Tangxi (逆戰塘西) has finally completed filming. At the celebratory meal, Tavia Yeung (楊怡) and Louis Cheung (張繼聰) shared their thoughts on the drama as well as post-filming plans.
Louis, who looked leaner, was asked if he lost weight due to the busy filming schedule. He explained that his weight loss was due to a strict diet and exercise regime that he followed in preparation for a new role. He added that Against the War in Tangxi left a deep impression on him, especially since his character will be involved in a complicated love triangle with Tavia, and Lin Xiawei (林夏薇). On whether he was hoping to win an award with his role in the drama, Louis said, “That thought didn’t cross my mind. But I do really like the character, who starts out being selfish and unlikeable but ends up being a kind-hearted man.”
As for his post-filming plans, Louis will be taking a break for a few days before launching into preparations for his musical role as well as a film project.
Tavia was asked about her upcoming holiday plans. For Valentine’s Day, she said dismissively, “No I haven’t thought about it. I just want to take a break from filming.” When prompted that boyfriend Him Law (羅仲謙) may have prepared a surprise for her, Tavia said both of them are very busy with work.
On her plans for Lunar New Year, Tavia said she may have to work. “I had to work during last year’s Lunar New Year too! I was also ill. I couldn’t even meet up with my friends. This year, I really want to visit my friends’ homes!” Asked whether she gives out red packets to her elders, Tavia said, “Of course! I give red packets every year. Even if I get married one day, I will still give out red packets by myself! I don’t believe in combined red packets!”

why louis cheung again? tvb really short of siu san,he is too ugly for tavia. is there no lam fung or bosco type anymore at tvb?

I called you vain for the comment about Louis “is too ugly for Tavia.” I rather Tavia have a good co-star to do her scenes so I can fully enjoy their acting instead of her with some eye-candy who can’t act.
I’m not sure where WCL comes in, but yes I do prefer to watch Louis more than WCL. WCL is funny but his character gets OOT sometime and is too cringy to watch.
Neither louis cheng nor wong cho lam. You mean people love the look of wong cho lam. Unfortunately, movies and tvs are a lot to do with eye candy (though not necessary the glamorous variety)
Eye candy… Hmmm… Ruco Chan, Raymond Wong, Kevin Cheng, etc. Who else? Bosco Wong and Ron Ng don’t work for TVB much?
