    1. It was for no room for crime he won in Malaysia. & Hong Kong.

I thought Him Law should have won.
Happy for the 2 Kelly’s winning,

I thought Tavia should have won best actress over Katy Kung
Katy’s role wasn’t that outstanding, whereas Tavia had a much more complex character to portray

  1. Best Actor —> I do not know how to feel about the HK award, but the Malaysia award was deserved 50/50
Best Actress —> If she won with Death by Zero in the past, that would have made so much more sense 0/100
BS Actress —> Long, long due. Kelly Fu has the looks and talent 100/100
BS Actor —> Deserved but for should’ve been for Darkside of the Moon same year 100/100
MI Actor —> TVB was begging to give this to him BUT he has talent 100/100
MI Actress —> TVB was begging to give this to her BUT she has NO talent 0/100
Best New Actor —> Aska is one serious and hard working dude 100/100
Best New Actress —> Rachel is someone who is willing to try anything and use her body for marketing 50/50

    1. Love your review – any HK drama you reco for last year? Haven’t watched anything at all canto last year, so could use some good suggestions

      1. Dark Side of the Moon for pace and plot
Big Biz Duel if you want investment in production—repetitive plot
No Room for Crime is for Elaine Yiu/Owen Cheung plus newcomer girl who gets human trafficked
Happily Ever After for serious acting and writing—heavy, toxic topics
Avoid call of Destiny and Sinister Beings 2—over dramatic acting, unrealistic themes, and very little chemistry among costars

  2. TVB’s awards are meaningless these days when they are handed out to these 2nd tier-level actors actresses………Regardless of what their roles were in their respective TV series, these guys are not A-listers.

  3. I’m just as shocked with many others as well on the internet with the results.

Best Actress – Katy Kung’s performance is nowhere near Tavia or Rosina. Shocked to even see Nancy not being in the Top 5 nomination. Tavia winning Greater Bay’s BA is similar to Linda winning Malaysia’s BA award back in 2021, like a consolation prize. Yoyo Chen was even better than Katy!

Best Actor – I don’t think Owen’s performance is on par with Ruco! And for him to win double HK and Msia’s BA, I am shocked to the core. I thought Msia’s BA would have gone to Ruco or Him Law!

BSA – Kelly Fu should have won Most Improved instead. Hera did not impress me at all. Kelly in fact, did showed her acting chops well! However I still prefer Priscilla Wong or Griselda Yeung to be awarded BSA instead. They were so much better!

BSA – King Lam is great, or perhaps you can call him a dark horse. Edwin Siu was better in their performances in my opinion!

Best Series – Is No Room for Crime really that good to win over Dark Side of the Moon? I can’t really comment much because I only saw Instagram clips of this series released by TVB and other influencers. The only series that I watched entirely this past year was Dark Side of the Moon. So it’s my own opinion that I thought Dark Side should have easily defeated No Room for Crime. Also, did Greater Bay really prefer the Dark Side or is TVB dividing out the pork prizes to each series? I don’t even know why Big Biz Duel won Malaysia’s! I’d think Malaysians would prefer Tavia and Vincent or Ruco – so Sinister Being 2 or Dark Side should have won for M’sia Best Series.

The only positive outcomes that I agree is Most Improved Actor won by Nicholas Yuen and Best Newcomer – Aska Cheung.

Oh Well! Thank you for letting me ramble and vent out here!

    1. Honestly I thought I read the headline wrong so I double checked. These two? Really? I get that they was want younger blood to lead the next gen, but come on they’re not that much younger and even more so they are not even popular with HK audiences.

  4. Most deserving winner Nicholas Yuen. Telford was nominated few times in this category but did not win. Hera won as she is most popular and tvb would like promote her more. Both BSA were deserving, but I was hoping Jonathan to win. Nothing much to say about BA. The other 3 actors won BA before, is good they let others win. Owen is more deserving than Him. I lost all respect for Him after he hit his ex.

This year presenters were pretty interesting. Brother Crow received the most applause when he came on stage. Alex Fong is funny. Marianne still look good and did not age. The most annoying presenter is Benz

The tribute memory was touching and well presented. Was not aware some of them had passed 🙁

  5. My 2 cents…

Best Actor —> Owen was going to get it eventually so not surprised
Best Actress —> Not for this role. Any of the other nominees deserved it more. Love Katy but this was not the right time
    BS Actress —> 100% agree
BS Actor —> Not sure about this role but I think it’s deserved, the guy’s been working hard in recent years
    MI Actor —> 100% agree
MI Actress —> Ermmm, she’s not great but I guess she has somewhat improved?
Best New Actor —> haven’t seen much of this guy
Best New Actress —> haven’t seen much of this girl
