“The Penthouse” Production Team Reunites for New Drama
After the success of South Korean series, The Penthouse, screenwriter Kim Soon Ok and producer Joo Dong Min are returning with a new thriller drama The Escape of 7. Actor Uhm Ki Joon who previously starred in The Penthouse is confirmed to lead the new drama alongside actress Hwang Jung Eum.
The production team of The Escape of 7 has released little details but the plot reportedly revolves around seven main characters. Given the strength of Kim Soon Ok and Joo Dong Min, fans have high expectations as they look forward to seeing The Escape of 7 break new records.
Uhm Ki Joon made a strong impression with his explosive acting skills in The Penthouse and fans are excited to see what the actor will bring to the new drama.
Actress Hwang Jung Eum is making a return to television after welcoming the birth of her second son in 2021. The actress is known for starring in many South Korean classics including Men are Men, She Was Pretty and Kill Me, Heal Me.
