Wayne Lai, Moses Chan in a Fist Fight for “Assassin”

Working hard to keep their bodies fit for the action-packed drama Assassin <殺手>, Wayne Lai (黎耀祥) and Moses Chan’s (陳豪) efforts shone through in a recent fist fight scene. With desires to offer the best visuals, realistic swift punches and flying kicks were seen thrown without restraint under a cold and rainy night setting.

Despite it being the first time they’ve faced each other for a fight match, the two actors easily completed the scene. Wayne did his flying kick while Moses defended and attacked. The actors also did not complain in having to film late at night during the rain, and carefully listened to the action choreographer to ensure no mistakes were made.

Previously sustaining injuries while shooting in Taiwan, the two were even more careful than before. Wayne stretched and diligently practiced the moves with Moses several times before filming started. After each scene, they would return to monitor themselves and improve on any issues.

Age is just a number for 54-year-old Wayne and 47-year-old Moses, who were still full of energy. Moses praised Wayne for diligently going to the gym and thinks his abs are gained from blood and sweat. Wayne said, “Moses is my partial personal trainer. He shared a lot of fitness tips with me.”
