Wu Chun Flashes Anniversary Photo

The former Fahrenheit member married his first girlfriend and they have been together for 25 years.

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of their romance, Bruneian actor Wu Chun (吳尊) shared a photo of himself and his wife taken when they were teenagers.

Making his debut as a member of Taiwanese pop band Fahrenheit (飛輪海) back in 2005, Wu Chun had charmed many girl fans with his idol good looks and clean image. After Fahrenheit disbanded in 2013, however, Wu Chun made the surprise announcement that he was already married to his first love Lin Liying (林麗吟).

The photo, taken in 1996 in a home setting, showed a youthful Wu Chun putting his hand affectionately on Liying’s shoulder. With his thick brows and sharp facial features, the young Wu Chun already has the making of a star. His center part in the photo caught the attention of netizens, while others commented to ask how he managed to snag such a pretty girlfriend. Replying with humor, the star said, “Of course it is using my innermost charms.” Leaving well wishes for the couple, netizens praised him for awakening their faith in love.

The 41-year-old thanked his wife in the post. “February 1 is a significant date for us…25 years ago on this day, it was love at first sight, and we started dating until today. The ups and downs we have experienced together have been too precious…I’m so grateful to find someone who is willing to journey together with me in my career, a best friend with whom we have built a happy life.”

Ending his caption with a sweet affirmation of love, he wrote, “She is ‘WHY’ all my dreams came true! My secret weapon in life…Yes, she is the one.”

  1. It feels like he is only staying relevant when he shows off his family. It is a bit sad as he was hiding for so many years but is now flaunting his family at every chance he gets.

    1. @hetieshou Exactly he was so secretive back then. Even when the wife appeared in the China variety show – Where Are We Going Dad, she was wearing a face mask to hide her face and did not even show up for the meal session and Wu Chun claimed she was having cold which I find is utter bull****, when other dad’s spouse can show their faces on camera. But now he is like keep showing off his family when he is no longer popular just to stay relevant.

Yes and I absolutely hate that. He was never popular to start with and only got kind of popular due to Fahrenheit. Basically he was only riding on the fame of group. I felt he was the least popular member of the group and only relied on them for any fame. After he left, he is pretty much gone from the spotlight but is now using his family to stay relevant. I find that not only sad but pathetic too.
