Christine Ng Plays a Civil Judge in “The Love Firm”

Christine Ng (伍詠薇) recently made an appearance at a civil court, and many journalists thought she was involved in a court battle over a family inheritance. However, it turns out that Christine is doing research for her character in the new TVB drama, The Love Firm <傳愛事務所>, in which she portrays a civil judge and will have relationships with the two hot shot lawyers, Moses Chan (陳豪) and Wayne Lai (黎耀祥).

In The Love Firm, Fala Chen (陳法拉) will portray an apprentice lawyer. The filming of the new drama will begin this week.

While inside the court room, Christine was very focused on listening to the case and did not doze off one bit. When the judges were talking, Christine jotted down notes to help her with her upcoming court scenes. One of the journalists told her that the court reporters in the TVB court drama are quite different from those in reality. In real life, court reporters would not spend most of their time writing notes.

Christine laughed and responded, “Once the filming begins, I will definitely make sure TVB will not run into the same mistakes again.” Although everyone knows it is beyond her control, they had a good laugh at Christine’s comment.

  1. i still miss her Ling Li role in the gambling show with simon yam and kent tong

  2. A civil judge with 2 hotshots lawyers as lover? She will probably have to excuse herself from hearing their cases every single time.

    1. Agree. Loved her in Welcome to the House, arguably the best sitcom I enjoyed…

  3. Ive always admired her acting 🙂 She has great potential, however, TVB never seems to give her good opportunities to act in tvb series let alone receive a good role. However, she always seems so bubbly and happy in life , so I guess it doesn’t matter!(i believe she also has her own company/buisness)

  4. i wonder why she hasn’t been in many series recently…why is tvb neglecting her?? she’s such a good actress! but her roles are getting smaller and smaller! 🙁

    1. Uhh… TVB is definitely not neglecting her. She took a year off from TVB to focus on her business, came back to cohost her own game show, and is one of the female leads in War and Beauty 2. Not only that, she’ll be singing both the theme and subtheme song for that series, and she’s basically the female lead in this series too. I think many other artists hope they are just as “neglected” as her.

      1. Her voice indeed sound like Anita Mui’s
