Drama After Drama, Vincent Wong Has No Time to Rest

Vincent Wong (王浩信) took some time off his busy filming schedule to attend a holiday event for Christmas. The 33-year-old actor, who is shooting the legal-crime drama Crossing Boundaries <踩過界>, will be filming dramas back-to-back in the new few months.

“I just finished shooting [My Unfair Lady 不懂撒嬌的女人], and now I have to start work in Crossing Boundaries,” said Vincent. “It’s my first time playing a lead character, and he’s also blind. It’s pretty uncomfortable wearing colored glasses at night.”

On the show, Vincent plays a blind lawyer who takes extreme measures to fight for justice. Owen Cheung (張振朗) stars as his best friend, a private investigator, while Ali Lee (李佳芯) plays a young high court judge. Sisley Choi (蔡思貝) portrays Vincent’s paralegal, who comes from a triad family.

Though Vincent won’t have a main female love interest on the show, he has quite a few daring love scenes with Ali. Vincent said, “I never had to do such intense scenes before. We’ve filmed some of it. I made sure to let my wife [Yoyo Chen 陳自瑤] know what I’m doing. Ali and I weren’t close before, but she’s extremely professional and easy to work with. Thanks to her, I’ve comfortably eased into my role.”

After completing Crossing Boundaries, Vincent will get back into work for Heart of Greed 3 <溏心風暴3>. He will be starring alongside Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), Louise Lee (李司祺), Michelle Yim (米雪), and Ha Yu (夏宇).

In regards to anniversary dramas, Dead Wrong <致命復活>, which stars Vincent, will be premiering next Sunday, November 20. Vincent has confidence that the drama will do well. “Hopefully we’ll get a nomination. I’m not greedy. I want to take it one step at a time. Getting a nomination feels like winning already.”
