Nancy Wu Thanks Former Flame Kenneth Ma For the Support

With only one month left before the TVB Anniversary Awards, everyone is caught on to the fever of guessing who they think might win big at the awards ceremony. Kenneth Ma (馬國明) said he supports his former girlfriend Nancy Wu (胡定欣) to win Best Actress, expressing that her drama, Ghost of Relativity <鬼同你OT>, was one of the more outstanding drama series shown this year.

When the reporters relayed Kenneth’s comment to Nancy, who has been busy shooting the martial arts drama Heroes of the Walled City <城寨英雄>, Nancy said, “Did he really say that? Thank you for supporting me! I will continue to work hard!”

Nancy is very happy to have been able to film Ghost of Relativity and is excited to hear the drama receiving good ratings and word-of-mouth. “I really hope I can be able to release a representative work every year, but to maintain this quality is difficult. It really depends on luck.” Nancy hinted that she has already found a dress to wear to the night of the awards ceremony.

In regards to her experiences in filming the drama serial Heroes of the Walled City, which also stars Ruco Chan (陳展鵬), Yuen Qiu (元秋), Philip Ng (伍允龍), and Benjamin Yuen (袁偉豪), Nancy said, “There is only three weeks of filming left. I’ve gotten really close with the cast and crew and I kind of don’t want it to end. I am already missing them.”

Nancy Wants Myolie Wu to Get Married Soon

Nancy’s good friend, Myolie Wu (胡杏兒), will be turning 36 years old on November 6. Nancy sadly said she won’t be able to celebrate Myolie’s birthday as she has to work, but she promised Myolie that she will make it up to her.

Asking if this birthday will be Myolie’s last birthday as a single lady, Nancy laughed and said, “I know she’s coming back for her birthday. I’ll be waiting to see if she wants to announce anything that day.” Nancy, who is dating music producer Terry Chan (陳明道), was then asked if it would be possible if she gets married before Myolie. “I will not. It’s great to have someone you love to celebrate your birthday with you. I hope [Myolie] will make the announcement quick!”

    1. @janet72 I found the drama rather lame too. It was funny for a few episodes then went downhill after that. Nancy and Kristal speaking in tandem was cringeworthy and rather childish. Wasn’t funny at all. Gave up too after a few episodes. No urge to pick it up. I agree with those who said Nancy’s acting in GOR doesn’t warrant a BA. She didn’t do very much except to look pissed or worried. Kristal speaks and acts the same in every role. I see shades of Ah Ying from BK in all her roles – loud and uncouth all the time. I hope Liza will win again. None of the current batch of fadans deserve to win if based on acting.

      2. @freedalas i don’t know abt liza playing herself in Limelight Years. She has no kids as far as i know so how can she play herself? I thought the drama was boring. In fact none of the tvb dramas this yr managed to sustain my interest except for COD and EITS and that is solely becos of Ruco. I think Anthony’s reputation precedes him. People seem to be in awe of him. Perhaps I’m in the minority that doesn’t think his acting is great. He always looked psychopathic to me, thuggish gangster type. His behaviour off screen reinforced my impression. So perhaps you cld also say he was playing himself in LOS to a certain extent lol!

      4. @freedalas why am I agreeing to everything you mentioned? I am crazy over Ruco…but it’s a fact that he pulled in the viewers.

Grace Chan screamed all the way…tony was like playing a pirate in kindergarten.

Anthony’s criticism of Grace was constructive….but tony just can’t take on such a serious role. That supporting role in EITS was suitable for him. Anthony Wong needs to shut up.

      5. @isay: Why is there so much hype re Ghost of Relativity? Seems that this drama had the highest ratings among all TVB dramas for 2015 (excluding Empress of China)? This year I only watched 3 dramas: Eye in the Sky, Empress of China and COD. Totally no incentive to watch any other TVB dramas not starring Ruco. i rather watch Ruco’s old dramas than the new ones. LOL

      6. @lml1977 hmm, i can’t answer that question cos i lost interest in it after a few episodes of Kristal and Nancy bickering, nancy throwing tantrums/looking pissed and kristal extending her BK Ah Ying persona to her role here. I can’t remember the name of the Malaysian actress who plays Lolitta but I kinda enjoyed her femme fatale character here.
