“Tiger Cubs” Roar with 360 Degrees of Hotness!

were assembled to portray Special Duties Unit (SDU) members in hit drama, Tiger Cubs<飛虎>.  In the drama, different types of hunks fulfill any woman’s dream! Focusing on the training and operations of the SDU, the drama stars Joe Ma (馬德鐘) and Jessica Hsuan (宣萱).  With only three episodes broadcast, Tiger Cubs has already garnered a strong following for its big budget action sequence and male-dominated cast.   It is no wonder that this series holds the top weekly ratings despite being broadcast only on the weekends!

Different Types of Hunks

Leading the team, Joe Ma is a long standing member of SDU and known as the “Devil Trainer.”  His character has high expectations for his subordinates during their training sessions and operations but on a personal level, maintains a close friendship with them.  Pledging his loyalty to teammates, he is a true hero in their eyes.  Joe seems to be the perfect choice for this role with his real life experience as a police officer in the VIP Protection Unit (G4).

To prepare for his character, it was reported that Joe went through vigorous training.  Being in top shape, Joe is able to showcase his hotness in uniform and crop haircut causing netizens to declare him as “360 degrees of hotness!”

Tiger Cubs also featured heavily-promoted Him Law (羅仲謙), known for his muscular build. Coming from a wealthy background, Him plays a new member of SDU. With his character having an arrogant personality, Him’s character is the one the audience loves to hate!

Another new SDU member, Vincent Wong (王浩信) exposed his upper pectoral region in one scene causing women to be in awe with his physique!

Even the main villain of Tiger Cubs has been deemed as hot!  One of the most well received character so far is special guest star, Kenneth Ma (馬國明).  Although he plays a cold-blooded murderer, his new image with his shaven head, tattoo, and intense stare has captured attention from female audience.  His minimal dialogue only adds to the appeal of his mysterious character, while his dedication to his wife, played by JJ Jia (賈曉晨) will make any woman swoon!

Jessica Hsuan Does Not Lose to the Men

This series is dominated by men; however, the only female lead, Jessica Hsuan, is still able to stand on her own.  Sacrificing her long hair for this series, she successfully plays a cop often caught in dangerous predicaments.  When she holds a gun, her coolness cannot be disregarded.  During a recent interview, Jessica made a comment regarding the predicability of TVB series but with the  explosive action scenes and appealing artists in Tiger Cubs, it is sure to guarantee ratings!

  1. That picture above is just wrong. Like they were interrupted hence Him looking angry and Vincent flustered and trying to tell Him to calm down. So so so wrong!

    1. Funn,
“That picture above is just wrong. Like they were interrupted hence Him looking angry and Vincent flustered and trying to tell Him to calm down. So so so wrong!”

You are going down dangerous territory lah! I just see it as they were having a quarrel!

      1. Vincent: I didn’t mean to drop the soap, I swear!

Him: Liar! U set me up!

Him storms out and goes gets dressed, putting on his bra first.

    2. Haha, I know right? Now I feel bad for interrupting them.

  2. “Sacrificing her long hair for this series, she successfully plays a cop often caught in dangerous predicaments.” …………. Jessica was very professional and wore her hair short because of her role in “Tiger Cubs”, unlike Kate Tsui who still had long and curly hair in her role as an Inspector in “Forensic Heroes 3”.

      1. Producer mui siu ching. Yoyo and charmaine still looked good while looking professional in previous FH. Maybe MSC thought Kate could only be a vase.

      2. You can still look good and still look professional, but Kate’s appearance look inappropriate

  3. I like Vincent’s body in the above pic more. Too big chest for hulky Him Him.

  4. I think this series is quite okay so far. I will admit I like 3 Kingdoms RPG better. Oddly enough, the abundance of hot guys hasn’t really done anything for me in the last 3 episodes. I am usually shallow enough to stick around to watch an attractive cast lol

So far, my favorite character is Oscar Leung’s. He is not “hot” per se, but is very likable and well rounded overall in the series.

  5. Don’t care about their hotness though joe am is always a dreamy! I only care if they can pump out more episodes each week, once a week is just plain meany!

  6. Don’t care for Him Law’s looks nor his so-called “hot” body. He’s considered good-looking??

  7. Jessica looks prof in the serie. Joe Ma is ok, not bad

  8. Anyone else on Team Oscar Leung?

I find him the most attractive in the cast. I still can’t figure out why I think he is hot.

Very puzzling… I used to have bad impression of him but I totally like him in Tiger Cubs.

    1. His hair cut looks cool.

    2. He must have worked out and bulk up.

    3. He seems funny and irrelevant, yet serious and gentle.

    4. Not traditionally good looks like Him but I can’t figure out why he’s so appealing now!

    1. Yes, I’m in Team Oscar. He looks so hot in this. I totally agree.

      1. I like Oscar too in this series. Like him also in that Linda and Myolie’s series too. He was so pretty as a female dancer, and danced much better than Linda. lol!

  9. I enjoy the series so far; in fact it is the best series out there action wise.My initial thought is since the show is male dominant females will get the upper hand. But for me I like how each episode ends in an mini movie format leaving no open stories to wonder the next episode. Also Jessica acting is spot on professional as usual with Joe makes the show quite plausible smart action. However I think it will be short as I looked it up having only 13 episodes. But so what I say keep the action going.
