Cecilia Cheung Has Already Broken Up with Third Son’s Father

Cecilia Cheung’s (張栢芝) third son, Marcus Cheung (張禮承), was born in November 2018 in Hong Kong, but the baby’s father remains to be a mystery. Cecilia has denied revealing the identity of the father, and on her son’s birth certificate, the father’s bracket remained blank.

According to a source Cecilia’s reason for doing so was because she has already broken up with the baby’s father, long before their son was born.

Regardless of the father’s identity, Cecilia did not hide her bundle of joy from the world, and is ecstatic to be a mother again. When her son turned 100 days old, she happily shared the news on social media.

The 38-year-old Hong Kong actress now has three children. Her oldest son, 11-year-old Lucas Tse (謝振軒) and second son, 8-year-old Quintus Tse (謝振南), are her sons with ex-husband Nicholas Tse (謝霆鋒).

  1. Don’t worry. There will be more children to come from more different fathers. Cecilia loves children…

    1. @jimmyszeto And there will always be plenty of men who like the act of baby making but not the responsibility of having a baby.

I don’t really follow her, but I do give her credit for knowing that she is better off taking care of her kids on her own with out relying on a partner.

  2. Of course she has, what sort of Man will allow a woman to face the world with her new baby alone with so many speculations.
If they have not broken up, I expect the baby will not have a blank in the birth certificate.

  3. What a jerk, though. To not even declare himself as the father of his own kid. I understand there’s a lot of controversy surrounding this mystery child, and not everyone wants to be in the spotlight. But dude, you had a hand in making this happen. At the freaking least, take some responsibility for the kid.

It might be unfair to blame the man because like in the West there are so many female celebrities who have kids from different fathers who do not want the children anything to do with man once the relationship has ended or arrange regular visits themselves. Just because Cecilia refuses to announce the identity of the father does not mean she is not communicating with the father. We all know that Cecilia has always loved kids and is a great mother so it will not affect her much.

      1. @jimmyszeto That’s why there’s something called the law to assist parents with gaining custody or at least visitation rights if the parent wants to be involved in their kids’ lives.

This is obviously not the case here with Cecilia. Although she might’ve preferred no interaction with the father rather than announcing his identity. Still, if the father has any desire to see his kids, no one can stop him. Same in the West (unless the dad isn’t even aware of his progeny.)
