Ali Lee Stars Opposite Gallen Lo in “The Conspirators”

In honor of the 100th episode of variety show Organized Dining <搵食飯團>, hosts Grace Chan (陳凱琳), Ali Lee (李佳芯), Gloria Tang (鄧佩儀), Alan Wan (溫家偉), and Penny Chan (陳國峰) attended a celebratory dinner event during the Lunar New Years holidays.

Hoping to encourage viewers to tune into Organized Dining, Penny joked that if the variety show is renewed until its 200th episode, Grace, Ali, and Gloria will celebrate in bikinis. Fortunately coming to the ladies’ rescue, Alan said he would wear his swimsuit in place of the female hosts if the time comes.

Spends Lantern Festival Without Kevin

Despite her busy work schedule, Grace was able to spend the Lantern Festival with her family this year. However, Grace’s boyfriend Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) was absent during the traditional family dinner. When asked why Kevin was not with her family during the celebrations, Grace smiled, “Maybe next year!”

While Grace was lucky enough to have some free time over the Lunar New Year, Ali revealed she actually worked through the holidays. Ali also excitedly disclosed her opportunity to work with Gallen Lo (羅嘉良) in her upcoming series The Conspirators <與諜同謀>. With rumours that Ali has been given the opportunity to star as the lead female for the first time, the actress humbly said, “We’re currently trying out the looks and costume. We don’t know how many other actresses there are yet.”

Although nicknamed TVB’s newest “home-wrecker”, Ali is not worried about being typecast as a mistress in dramas. Ali also joked that she is playing the role of a mother in The Conspirators and does not know if she will have a romantic storyline with Gallen yet.

  2. Ali is definitely the best choice.. finally TVB didn’t screw this up if they did hire one of those n00bies miss HK would definitely screw Gallen return serie.

  3. Yeah, alright TVB have finally made a good choice.

I’ve been a fan of Ali Lee since Overachievers as Ivy.

She hasn’t been given many good roles since.

But now with lead in the Legal drama with Alex Fong and this drama, hopefully Ali can rise to the top, heaps better than promoting the Miss HK’s who cannot act right now to carry a series.

  4. But she does have the face of a villain and/or “home wrecker” though. I hope she’s not the main lead. Nothing is certain yet right?
Why can’t they give it to Natalie Tong? Or other veterans? Why her though?
