Him Law On Filming “The Monkey King 2”
Him Law (羅仲謙) promoted Lady Sour <醋娘子> at an event yesterday. However, Him was originally not expected to attend because of his busy filming schedule for The Monkey King 2 <西遊記之三打白骨精> in Wuxi.
The 30-year-old actor revealed that he has been missing recent Lady Sour promotional events since he started filming The Monkey King 2, a sequel to the 2014 fantasy 3D blockbuster. The Monkey King 2 stars Aaron Kwok (郭富城) as the titular character, Sun Wukong, a mischievous monkey. Gong Li (鞏俐) and William Feng (馮紹峰) have also joined the cast to portray the villainous White Bone Demon and righteous monk Tang Sanzang respectively.
Him did not reveal what character he is playing in the film, but will be sharing scenes with Aaron, Gong Li, and William. He further revealed that the film is physically exhausting, and that character makeup would take at least six hours to complete.
“Everyone looks cool in this film. The makeup is heavy, but our eyes aren’t covered, so we can still recognize who is who,” said Him.
In regards to his filming experience, Him remarked that Wuxi is very cold and big. “It’s at least twenty degrees [Celsius] colder than Hong Kong. Once it’s nightfall, the temperature drops to zero.” Him felt a lot of pressure having to act opposite big movie stars and industry seniors, but he is also very thankful for the opportunity.

He usually looks too boyish next to Tavia Yeung but up there, he’s about right w/her. ahaha LOL…He can be a cutie when he first started thou. Nice young refreshing face but as time goes by, he’s just another face now IMO of course.
