Christine Fan Defends Blackie Chan Amid Sexual Harassment Scandal

Taiwanese artiste Blackie Chen’s (陳建州) is under intense public scrutiny after two artistes, Da Ya (大牙) and Yuan Kuo (郭源元) accuse the star of sexual harassment. While Blackie and his wife Christine Fan (范瑋琪) have hit back with legal actions, Christine further took to her social media to support her husband.

Standing steady by her husband’s side, Christine directly addressed the accusations that Blackie committed his act at the couple’s home while Christine was pregnant. Christine wrote, “I’m not insane. I am still continuing my normal routine at home. Looking back to when I found out about my pregnancy, I clearly recalled that I always stayed home until my water broke.”

Christine continued, “During that time, I went out five times. I went to a wedding, a friend’s gathering, to visit Blackie’s grandmother, to have dinner with my friends and to have a picnic. In addition to walking 7,000 steps per day and having my regular prenatal check-ups, Blackie was with me on each and every single occasion.”

“Anyone who has been to my old home knows that there is only 1 bed in my house. There is no such thing as another bed. Moreover, my mother and Fan’s mother lived downstairs and they took turns to visit me throughout the day.”

“People who have known Blackie since he was young know that he does not drink alcohol. I also couldn’t have been drinking alcohol during my pregnancy. I strongly believe that my husband is a man of integrity and is not afraid of any shadows. I love my husband and I will give it my all to protect my family.
