Christine Kuo Fulfills Men’s Fantasies in School Uniform

Filming on location for her debut movie, Heavy Flavor <重口味>, Christine Kuo (苟芸慧) appeared in a schoolgirl’s uniform – long white socks, black shoes and short checkered skirt – attracting many uncles’ lustful stares as a result. Despite the long sleeve cardigan she was wearing, Christine still exuded a schoolgirl’s charm with her long flowing hair and short checkered skirt.

During one of the breaks, Christine showed her seductive side when she stood idly, sipping a cup of beverage through a straw. Leaning against a table with one hand on her lap to ensure the mid-thigh skirt did not reveal more than it already has, Christine sipped on the straw. As if on cue, a sudden gust of wind caused her skirt to fly up, revealing more of her milky soft skin. Not only did that cause heads to turn, she attracted the attention of several uncles who stopped to catch more glimpses of her.

Two members from girl band, AOA, were also present. Like Christine, all of them were costumed in school uniforms.

Heavy Flavor features three short stories, using prostitution, gambling and drugs as the themes. Christine will appear in one of the short stories, entitled “Kill to Indemnify” <有殺有賠> opposite Oscar Leung (梁烈唯). Also present at yesterday’s filming, Oscar showed a victory sign when he spotted the reporters taking photographs.

  1. Is she a reluctant sex symbol or did she participate in this knowing what will happen? I am curious since she made such a huge fuss over the so called rumours with Michael Tse and the whole car shaking thing which was acting. So was she she truly as innocent as she says she is or did she just use all that as publicity thus making her a very very shrewd woman?

Whilst I am not against anyone choosing the sexy path for their career but sometimes it is hard to have credibility as an actress if this is the only path, unless you are Marilyn Monroe and it too her decades after her death to be acknowledged beyond her sex symbol status.

    1. maybe she is afraid to be frozen by tvb if she doesnt follow their path.there are many cases that unwilling actors/actress has been frozen by tvb over the years.but i think its not so bad at all, maybe she will become a new shu qi.

      1. Haha, she only wishes to be Shu Qi. She doesn’t exude the womanly sexiness like Shu Qi. At most Kate Tsui is the closest candidate, but only with heavy makeup (does she ever NOT wear those fake eyelashes?!!?!). Shu Qi exudes the sexiness naturally.

    2. Funn,
Christine Kuo sounds like a conservative woman. Although cast in “Lan Kwai Fong 2” opposite Kelvin Kwan, she later backed out from filming the movie due to the revealing scenes required.

It is the HK media and fanboys that see Christine as a sex symbol and to remain relevant in the industry, she has to accommodate such an image to a degree, such as wearing tight-fitting clothes at events. However, the car shaking incident is bordering on affecting her personal reputation since it linked her with a married man.

    3. Media sells her as a sex icon, not herself. Similar case, Sharon Chan… her management wanted her to sell her legs. More similar cases, TVB is pro-rape scenarios now a days, does that make all the actors/actresses trying to sell themselves as rapists and rape-ees?

  2. Well, if Christine Kuo can’t act and can’t speak proper Cantonese, what else can she do to boost her acting career? She is pretty and has a good figure, perhaps choosing the sexy path is her easiest way to boost her acting career.

    1. True that. beautiful face, nice body, why not?
And surely her Cantonese and acting will improve in time!

  3. Well she’s certainly not good for anything else. Sad how she gets roles because of her looks, her acting and Cantonese speaking abilities are awful.

  4. wow as i read the description of her standing.. i feel like it was a soft porn story. lol >___<

  5. she’s beautiful. cant blame those men for staring. she is born to be looked and admired. i think she is still innocent judging from her behavior, plus she is not doing any provocative scenes, just playing oscar’s love interest. they have no wild scenes together, only oscar does.

  6. Saw pictures of her on set in the school uniform. I don’t want to be judgmental, but one of the things I notice is that her legs should be considered pretty thick in HK’s standards for girls. It’s not a bad thing though; she has curves, which makes her look healthier than other stick-thin actresses in HK. Christine undeniably has a gorgeous face. She resembles Kelly Lin IMO, a younger and girlier version.

    1. Not sure if it’s me or not.. but she looks a bit different in that photo. (not a bad thing)

    2. I think so, too ……. “her legs should be considered pretty thick in HK’s standards for girls.” I noticed it in her performance in TVB anniversary shows.

    3. Chinese generally have big thighs.More so when we are generally short. But her thighs are ok. She looks like someone who is bulky. I don’t mean fat but I mean voluptous which is very rare in HK entertainment. But I give her 6 months and then she will start dieting to slim down her legs and this make herself look sickly too thin.

      1. Personally I think she is a bit “fat” among all the other TVB actresses. It was more obvious at TVB anniversary shows/dances. She looked okay in most drama series, but not at those dances performed at TVB anniversary.

      2. I don’t think she is fat at all. She is normal, even voluptous. The others were skinny, some even too skinny. Christine is one of the few that looks proportionate.

Ahh don’t criticise her that way if not she will go dieting until she faints.

      3. I don’t consider her “fat” at all. She is just big-boned and actually has some meat on her unlike many of the actresses in HK. I think she looks great.

      4. Agree with Funn.. Christine looks like a normal girl. I hope she doesn’t fall under the Hong Kong mentality that she has to be skeletal to be pretty.

      5. According to Hong Kong standard, she was “a bit too full” in her body, not only top. I noticed that when she was dancing in shows with other actresses in TV anniversary performances. If she stands next to Myolie Wu, who is super skinny, Christine obviously looks “a bit full”. Linda Chung, Fala Chen, Kate Tse don’t look so skinny vs. Myolie Wu.

    4. I personally think she is onthe bigger side for HK standards. She just got big boobs.

  7. TVB is aimed to please every fetish there is: rape, uniform, etc.

Would a bit of S&M be on the horizon?

    1. I hope that one day they will bring out the enemas just like in my private Japanese videos.

yuaiada, you got my back on this right?

  8. Why is people being over obsessed about her anyway I dont even know why tvb giving her roles in the 1st place her acting is bad lor….I tend to avoid watching the scenes that has her in it

  9. What… no pictures? J/K! Seriously though, I certainly hope Christine isn’t typecast into these roles. She needs coaching and needs to improve her speaking so she can really shine as an actress. Please don’t take the “easy way out.”

  10. She is pretty not going to lie. But she isn’t very educated (going to a university in a small town barely cuts in Canada) bad at acting and clearly have not master the cantonese language.

    1. please…get real..university in a small town barely cuts in Canada?

      1. Christine Kuo did her university education by correspondence at Athabasca University in Alberta due to financial reasons. It is not a regular full-time university in Canada, all students do their studies by correspondence. There is no qualifications required for enrollment.

Christine mentioned at her recent interview in Hong Kong that we was accepted by the University of Waterloo to do Mathematics. I have some doubts. U of W is one of the top universities in Canada, and she had to be super smart to get in. Moreover, there are co-ops in U of W and most students can manage it financially. Well, she could have said anything to the reporters as they would not be able to find out the truth.

      2. Uh do you go to school in Canada? Cause if you do you should know that for no name universities you don’t really need any requirement to be admitted. And from what I know Christine Kuo came from a well off family.. and just so you know in Miss Toronto Pageant, for her to be crowned winner and take home eight awards, aside from her beauty money was surely involved. It’s a “known” secret in the Chinese community that the top three will have to “donate” a fee.

      3. I don’t know why people are so into the grade factors for universities. Yes, of course across the world universities are known for their good academics and they set up really high standards for incoming students. However, no one realizes it isn’t just about the grades. Connections and money definitely plays a role. Even the top ivy league schools, Cornell, Columbia, Harvard… while there are students who got in for their superb grades and extracurricular activities (say sports)…there are many cases where students are getting in because of their financial background i.e. rich…filthy rich parents.

      4. I heard that all participants in Miss Chinese Toronto have to purchase at least one table of ten during the final competition. Each table would cost at least CAD2,500 about 10 years ago. I don’t think those participants could afford to do it if they were not from well-off families.

      5. @sandycherry, it’s not just hte table. Before they crown the winners the tv station and hosts make it clear to the contestants that whoever wins first place will have to donate at least 10 000 dollars. From what i know past winners have borrowed loans to make payments. .it’s crazy.

      6. Uni
Thanks for your information. I don’t know anything about it. Fairchild Chinese TV must be crazy. All the contestants were either college or university students. If their families couldn’t help them, they would be in big troubles.

One of the winners was a classmate of my friend’s daughter, but it was more than 10 years ago. She or her family had to buy 1 to 2 tables at the Final @ more than CAD2,500 each.

  11. That’s the reason why most of TVB look like walking skeleton or bobble head, because all of those meany comment about weight. And after they diet until stick thin, then we will hear comment, please eat more, or Lolli pop head whatever mean word that can throw at them.

All I can say she is normal. Even though she could go extra mile to brush up her acting skills.

  12. the title of this article is right from the pages of Japanese schoolgirls selling their bods to middle age salarymen in exchange for designer items.
