Dating rumors are swirling between Taiwanese actor Darren Wang (王大陸) and Chinese actress Jelly Lin (林允), as it has been said that they fell in love on screen and off after collaborating in the 2019 romantic comedy Fall in Love at First Sight <一吻定情>. Whether or not those dating rumors are true, Darren and Jelly do publicly flirt with each other, as seen on the reality show My Little One <我家那閨女>.
On the show, which airs on Hunan TV, Jelly brought Darren to her home and cooked for him. A source who have worked with them on the show said the two are actually “very close” in private.
Recently, a netizen spotted Darren in Huzhou, Zhejiang, Jelly’s hometown. The netizen said Jelly’s parents were both with Darren, leading to speculation that Darren was officially meeting her family. Darren was then seen taking Jelly shopping, and it was said that they interacted like a couple. A netizen claimed she heard Darren refer to Jelly as his wife.
However, another netizen dispelled dating rumors, expressing that both Darren and Jelly were filming a reality show at the time. The netizen further added that if Darren and Jelly were really in a relationship, they would most likely not allow television programs to film them.
Darren’s last rumored girlfriend was the South Korean actress Kang Han-na, best known for starring in 2016’s Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. Their dating rumors lasted more than two years. Kang Han-na announced late last year that she had broken up with her boyfriend.
